Recently back from another wonderful week at 1012 Wesley. Just wanted to mention that the owner has installed a new fridge and washer/dryer. The latter are so big and efficient that I wish I had the set at home! There's also WiFi now, which everyone appreciated. Enjoy.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers

Historic charmer at the shore

This was a wonderful place to gather the children, parents, and grandparents for a week at the shore. The home is spacious, well-equipped (no flat screens, though), and has an inviting old-world feel, which we preferred over the many cookie-cutter, charmless newer homes for rent in the area. The owner is also a delight to deal with and goes out of her way to help with questions and logistics. And the location can't be beat; everything is within walking distance--beach, boardwalk, shops, restaurants, grocery store, even a farmers' market. If you have multiple cars, note that the home comes with one designated parking place, but street parking is available. And once you get a spot, there's really no need to get in the car again until you leave. We can't wait to return!
