Vacation Rental Description

This Turnberry second floor corner unit was the former Vista 
 model for the developer.  The interior decorator has woven  
together a luxurious, but comfortable ambiance; there are multiple  
upgrades throughout the home.  Kate Green, the decorator won  
two “Sand Dollar” southwest Florida decorating awards for this  
home.   
Privacy and views are featured in this second story home, which  
overlooks the 9th tee, a 5-acre pond and preserve area and the  
pool.   
The building has an elevator and trash chute on each floor.  Covered  
parking is included for each unit.  The Jacuzzi and barbecue area  
are a short walk from this suite. 
The kitchen comes complete with smooth top range, an icemaker side- 
by-side refrigerator, dishwasher, and an over the range microwave  
loads of counter space, cabinets, a double sink and a garbage  
disposal.  There is a large pantry complete with all the small  
appliances, dishes, pots and pans, serving pieces, glassware,  
storage containers, etc. necessary for a great vacation.   
 The dining room seats 6-8 guests comfortably and overlooks the pool  
area.  The living room is elegant and comfortable with sliders to a  
private screened lanai.     
The master bedroom suite also opens out to the lanai.   It has a  
king size bed, a chaise lounge, an armoire entertainment center  
complete with cable TV, a huge walk-in dressing room,closet and a  
separate master bath with double vanity and a linen closet.    
The guest bedroom has two twin beds, a desk, a closet and  
an adjacent bathroom.  The den is comfortably furnished with a pull  
out queen-size sofa bed, a love seat, TV, VCR and a  
walk-in closet, which houses a computer and a printer/fax/ copier  
machine on a wheeled stand.   
There is a separate laundry room within the home and  a locked  
second floor storage area with 2 bikes, swim noodles and 4 beach  
chairs.  Just bring your clothes!

Vacation Rental Amenities

Pelican Sound Golf and River Club is located between Naples and  
Ft. Myers in Estero. This gated community offers maximum versatility  
with 27 holes of championship golf, masterfully designed to present  
the most breathtaking challenges, from shifting Gulf breezes to  
carries over tidal marshes to rolling fairways lined with oaks and  
pines.  The driving range was totally renovated in 2004 and also  
offers chipping and putting areas.  There are private and group  
lessons offered almost daily.  Both men’s and women’s 9-hole groups  
and 18-hole groups, as well as couples groups have weekly scheduled  
competitions.   The reciprocal golf available through Pelican Sound  
affords golfers access to at least 60 of the top golf courses in  
southwest Florida. 
  Tennis players can enjoy 6-lighted Har-Tru courts adjacent to the  
Clubhouse and numerous opportunities for lessons and competition.    
  With both the 18,000 sf Clubhouse and the 5,000 sf River Club  
amenities abound. The Clubhouse has both casual and formal dining, a  
grille room, outdoor dining and an exterior snack bar, a pro shop  
and men’s and women's locker rooms.  The clubhouse has a full time  
activities director and hosts an extensive activity schedule which  
includes a game night, group travel opportunities, a scuba club,  
fishing club, ladies bridge, a book club, etc.   
  The River Club, located on the Estero River, has casual dining  
indoor and outdoor as well as a sports bar, a Fitness Center, and a  
swimming pool with a large sun deck.  Adjacent to the River Club  
there’s a launch for your boat, or feel free to use the community  
canoes and kayaks for paddles up or down the Estero River.  At the  
Pelican Sound dock, you can catch a ride on the community owned  
water taxi to the beach at Lover's Key State Recreation Park.   It’s  
a great round trip down the Estero River then out into Estero Bay,  
under the Schooner’s Pass Bridge and out into the gulf to Lover’s  
Key, the wildlife sightings are worth the trip even if you decide  
not to stay at the beach.  Additionally, there are miles of bicycle  
and walking trails through out the property.

Activities and Attractions

Area attractions include; 
Corkscrew Village offers shopping, banking, dining and more         
   directly across from the Pelican Sound's Corkscrew entrance. 
 
The brand new Coconut Town Center, located 1/4 mile south on Rt. 41,  
provides a phenomenal array of activities-upscale shopping, a wide  
selection of restaurants and movie theatres. 
 
Germain Arena- home of the Florida Everblades Hockey team is less  
than 5 miles east. 
 
The Miromar outlet mall is adjacent to Germain Arena  
 
Fort Myers- hosts several major league baseball spring training  
      camps including the Boston Red Sox and is less than 30 minutes 
      away. 
 
Everglades City-offers a 9 mile boardwalk through the everglades 
 
Corkscrew Sanctuary-offers a wildlife filled boardwalk through  
                    Audubon Society protected marshlands.   
 
The Thomas Edison and Henry Ford winter homes are less than 20       
     minutes north of Estero. 
 
Bonita Springs Greyhound track is a short 15 minute drive south.  
 
Sanibel & Captiva Islands are a 30 minute drive.
