Located directly on the ocean on a private white sand beach,
Coconut Grove is suited to those who are looking for something very
private and intimate.
Surrounded by mango trees and coconut palms, we have just three
separate beach cottages, thus assuring you a very private holiday.
When we bought our slice of paradise we made a conscious decision
to make sure we kept it just the way we would want it to be if we
were here on vacation. It was important to us that we retain the
solitude and simplicity of the island way of life, which is one
reason why we have no disco and no cable t.v.
What we do have, however, is extraordinary diving and
snorkeling, incredible nature walks, the greatest staff this side of
the Pacific and sunrises that will take your breath away.
We at Coconut Grove are devoted to this island, its people and its
traditions. Come see why people say that Taveuni is one of the most
magical places on our earth.

There are 3 private cottages on the property.
Each cottage is fitted with overhead ceiling fan, queen size bed
with imported mattress, bed linens and pillows,small fridge for
your goodies, cd player and the sound of the ocean as you fall to
sleep at night.
The Banana and the Mango Bure ("bure" means "cottage" in
english)both have attached outdoor honeymoon showers. These
showers are both hot and cold water and are completely private. You
haven't lived till you have bathed outdoors in complete privacy!!!
Optional meal plan at $40 U.S. per person per day is available
in the restaurant that Frommers Guide calls the "best place to dine
on Taveuni"
These are served in our restaurant, on your private verandah, or
down on the beach by candlelight.
If you would like a massage please let us know. We have 4 fully
trained and licensed masseuse who want to pamper you!

We provide our guests with a 2 person ocean kayak and snorkel gear
at no charge, as this is one of the main draws to the island.We
also will take you out to our beautiful snorkel reef,just a 20
minute swim from shore.
We have Dive Packages with the 3 local dive shops and can offer
you the best prices available on the island.
In addition, there are organized trips to Bouma, Lavena, Vidawa
and Waitabu Marine Park.
"Mekes"(traditional dance) from the nearby indigenous village
are performed as requested right on the beach here.
Most Saturday nights the guys come down and sing their sweet
island tunes.
And if you like, Sera can take you for a visit to her family
home in the village!
