Nice quiet getaway

The house is fairly nice with lots of beds to accommodate up to 10 people. Most of the living space is on the second floor and the only indoor stairs are a very narrow spiral stair case. There are two sets of stairs (front/back) outside the house. One full bath down is part of the master bedroom with small living room with sleeper sofa. Upstairs living room is larger and two bedrooms up are very spacious. Cable TV up is minimal (No ESPN - but who watches TV on vacation anyway ... unless there is a big soccer game between US and Mexico). No internet access. There were games and cards for the kids for the odd rainy day on the island. There are tables and chairs upstairs enough to feed 10 at one time (one table and 6 chairs is folded up in closet). Kitchen is small with refrigerator, stove and basic cooking and serving dishes. There is no dishwasher. Central air was nice but was not used much as the weather was spectacular in the upper 70s all week. The yard is OK but not very private if there are other people out in adjacent yards (no fences or bushes for privacy). View of the lake is minimal, more like a "peek" of the lake. Local realtor was very friendly and is available to deal with any issues during stay. Brewery and local winery were nice places to eat and drink. Pump House downtown has excellent food and service. If you are going to go for ice cream and put-put golf, get your ice-cream first as you can play golf for free with a waffle cone purchase.
