Timberwood Retreat is a lovely, custom-built home perfect for your family’s summer vacation! We will re-open May 24 through Aug. 13, 2012. additional Fall dates may be available upon request. There’s plenty of room for your family of 6 to10 people in this spacious, well decorated 3 bedroom/ 2 ½ bath home surrounded by trees.  With so many amenities & features, you’ll want to return summer after summer! You’ll love the welcoming, yet elegant beveled-glass entryway, 14 foot ceilings & open floor plan. We think you’ll feel Timberwood Retreat is just like home, only better.

Conveniently located just a few miles north of New Braunfels & Gruene in a quiet, relaxed rural subdivision, you’ll find it easy to get to historic Gruene Hall, world-famous Schlitterbahn Water Park, Comal River or Guadalupe River/River Road locations or, if you’re a shopper, one of two Outlet Malls, all within 10- 20 minutes drive.  If city visits are in your plan, you’re right in between Austin and San Antonio, each within 45 minutes. Fredericksburg, Boerne, Wimberley are all easy drives for fun day-trips to quaint Texas towns.

You’ll love “hanging around the house” with a fully equipped full-size kitchen and adjoining living spaces to play games, watch HD sports or movies, eat & relax. The breakfast nook is great for games & meals for up to six, while the open Dining-Living can seat up to ten. It may be hard to choose which is better: lounging around the 55” HDTV in the Living room, rustling up a gourmet meal or heading outside to grill, nap in the shaded hammock, catch some rays on the private lounger, soak in the private Hot Tub or make S’mores at the Chiminea. The calm, relaxing atmosphere at Timberwood Retreat will help your family create those lasting memories you’ll be talking about & remembering for years.

When your family turns in for the night, we have 3 bedrooms with Queen-size beds and cable TVs in each bedroom. One of the bedrooms has an open loft with a full sized bed. There is also a deluxe Queen-sized airbed which can be placed in the Master bedroom or Living room for additional sleeping choices. All your linens & plenty of towels are provided. Telephones with free local & long distance calling & wireless internet are also provided.

The Master Bath has a double sink, giant spa-like two-head shower, private toilet, while the guest bath has a standard tub/shower & standard sink & toilet. There is also a half-bath located in the shared utility space, along with a full size Washer/Dryer for your convenience.

Our home is fully stocked with most kitchen needs, including built in microwave, dishwasher, ice maker, Kitchen-aid mixer, food processor, coffee maker and toaster-oven. 4 TV’s with expanded cable, 2 DVD players, 1 VHS & 1 Blu-Ray wih surround sound & Showtime on the Livingroom TV.  There’s also an iron & board, hair dryer & much more!

Outside, you’ll enjoy the covered patio, landscaped lawn, large deck space & private Hot Tub.  A detailed notebook will be provided for you with instructions on how to use the Hot Tub, Chiminea etc. & rules and suggestions to maximize your stay. Kids are welcome. Dogs are permitted with an additional fee. No Smoking is allowed inside the home, but the covered back porch makes a great all-weather smoking area.

Private home, PRIVATE Back yard with AWESOME Hot Tub, seats 6 at a time & Roomy deck with automatic mood lighting starting at dusk for four hours. BBQ pit, Hammock, Chiminea & Horse shoes. Inside, plenty of room for cooking, dining, Games, DVDs, 4 TV's, one is a 55" HD1080 P, Blu-Ray player with Surround sound. Fully stocked full size kitchen with super fridge. Too many to list!!

Sleeping arrangements: Queen Bed in Master Bedroom, Queen Bed in Cranberry Guest room, Queen Bed In Sage Guest room with open loft- Full bed in loft, Blow-up Queen bed can go in Livingroom or Master Bedroom. If you have more than 10 persons, there is plenty of room for an extra blow up bed & the couch is comfy too. Let me know the actual head count please!
