Charming Stinson Beach Cottage in Stinson Beach

This cottage is a delight to all who have stayed here. "This cottage
has an understated elegance," wrote one guest, who confides that her
husband proposed to her while staying here. She added, "Your hammock
is one of the three greatest spots in the world." Wrote another
guest, "We wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your wonderful
and imaginative Stinson cottage." Said a third, "We were very
comfortable and happy at your adorable beach house."

Completely remodeled inside and out, the cottage is located half a
block from the beach, and a couple of minutes' stroll from the
restaurants and shops of Stinson Beach.

The cottage is largely open inside with Mexican tile floors
throughout. It's a perfect accommodation for a couple, and can sleep
up to four people, with a queen-size bed in the bedroom area and a
double-size hideabed in the living room.


Features include 12-foot-high sloped ceilings with a ceiling fan in
the living room and plenty of windows bringing light and air. It has
a modern woodburning stove with firewood provided, skylights in the
bedroom and bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, both a bath and a
shower, as well as a kitchen dining area.

The cottage's French doors open onto an outdoor deck with a table
and
umbrella, and redwood benches. The private garden has a hammock for
relaxing and reading.

The cottage has cable TV, DVD, and CD player/AM/FM radio, and a well-
stocked library. There are captivating views from a trapezoidal
window in the bedroom of 2,400-foot Mount Tamalpais rising up behind
the village of Stinson Beach. At night, the moon and stars often
peek
in through the bedroom skylight. Guests fall asleep to the sound of
the nearby surf.

Walk Stinson Beach's three miles of sand. Go surfing. Or try one of
three hiking trails that begin a couple of minutes away-- the Dipsea
Trail, the Matt Davis Trail, or the Steep Ravine Trail. Attend
Stinson's Shakespeare at the Beach performances from spring through
early fall. Enjoy dining out at Stinson's three fine restaurants.
Just 40 minutes' drive from San Francisco. Or take a 30-minute drive
north to the spectacular Pt. Reyes National Seashore.

The cottage rents with a two-night minimum at $175 per night; $875
