Vacation Rental Description

this property. This tastefully decorated 2 bedroom private end unit 
condominium, with fireplace, is within walking distance to one the 
most beautiful beaches on the Island. Enjoy sunsets from the over 600 
square foot wrap around deck. Perfect for one or two couples or a 
small family this property has 2 bedrooms, and one full bathroom. A 
short stroll will take you to the Gay Head Cliffs and Gay Head Light, 
both National Landmarks. This property is fully appointed with 
everything necessary to make for the perfect vacation.  
Satellite TV, dishwasher, trash compactor, washer/dryer, DVD player, 
stereo with CD player. Several excellent ocean view restaurants are 
close by as are some quaint island shops. The all- island transport 
bus stops nearby for convenient access to the rest of the island. 

This property, featured in renowned Martha’s Vineyard photographer 
Peter Simon’s 2006 Vineyard calendar, is new to the rental market and 
fully appointed with everything necessary to make for the perfect 
vacation. The Island of Martha's Vineyard is approximately 100 square 
miles of pasture, woods and miles of beaches on the Atlantic Ocean 
and Vineyard Sound. You can easily walk to the Land Bank beach at the 
foot of the multi-colored Gay Head Cliffs or to Philbin Beach, the 
town beach. If you choose to take your car to Philbin beach you will 
need to get a beach sticker, available at the town hall. Make sure to 
bring your lease.

There are several restaurants nearby for you to enjoy. The Outermost 
Inn features a vast menu of local seafood and other delights served 
along with sunset views and features indoor and outdoor dining areas. 
The Aquinnah Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with 
views of the Gay Head Cliffs. Both of these fine restaurants are a 
short walk from the house. A short drive will take you to Chilmark 
with several other fine restaurants some with ocean views. Aquinnah 
and Chilmark are dry towns so bring your own wine etc to dinner.

Activities and Attractions

Nearby is the Gay Head Cliffs and the Gay Head Lighthouse.  The 
Lighthouse offers sunset tours.  Within walking distance are some 
quaint Island shops and several fine restaurants.  Hiking and biking 
activities abound on the island of Martha's Vineyard.  The Menemsha 
bike ferry will take you to the fishing village of Menemsha where you 
can enjoy fresh seafood from the local fish markets.  They will even 
cook your lobsters for you to take back to the house.
