Our Brand New Home is Nestled between the Mountains and the Sea in the Heart of Acadia National Park. Experience grand views of Cadillac, Door, Champlain and Gorham Mountains from your 'base camp'. Built in November 2010, we designed our home to accommodate fun family vacations!  An open floor plan encourages comfort and ease in conversation.  There is plenty of room for family games, mingling, movie viewing, or simply relaxing.  Large windows from the living and dining areas allow you to enjoy pleasant views while you relax or dine.  A deck constructed of western red cedar faces the incredible mountain views of the mountains of Acadia.  Enjoy grilling or relaxing on the deck after a day of adventure.  We added plenty of bedroom to allow for areas of privacy.  We are on the Island Explorer bus line-simply walk down the short driveway to the Otter Creek Market to utilize the Free service- comes hourly. The Market is a convenient store for any necessities: groceries beer, sandwiches, pizza and more.  A larger grocery store is located in Bar Harbor 5 miles away. Enjoy the town playground which is also across from the Otter Creek Market. Nearby trails will take you up Cadiallac Mountain, or to Otter Cove- both with more fantastic views of the mountains and of the sea. Relax at Seal Harbor Beach which is only 3 miles away-or venture to Sand Beach which is accessible by car or Island Explorer bus. Carriage Roads, Jordan Pond and multiple hiking trails and the park loop road are also relatively close to our property. We have a great central location to allow you to embrace all the wonders of this beautiful area.
