Best Beach Vacation Ever

What an amazing place for a vacation. Very cozy home with a wood burning fireplace which we used often in the cool evenings. The beach was one of a kind, with absolutely no one on it and only 100 feet from the house. My kids played for hours, climbing on the rocks, digging for clams, searching for sea glass and riding the waves. We saw all kinds of wildlife including all different kinds of birds, seals, clams, deer, lobster traps, and crabs. The town of Kennebunkport is very quaint with cute shops and great restaurants. There was a sea kayak that my husband took every day to explore Little River and tributaries. By far one of our most favorite family vacations.

What a Gem!

What a charming beautiful house with a "woodsy feel" and so close to a private beach! What a great " off the beaten track" place to escape to. The house is at the end of a long woods road and makes you feel you've really escaped from the hectic outside worl The upstairs bedroom has huge windows that gives a wonderful feeling of sleeping outside under the stars. Very romantic! The house is very warm, comfortable and clean with a lovely wood burning stove. The towns of Kennebunk and Oqunquit are incredibly charming with so many things to do if you choose to venture out from the house We heard about this place through a friend who's family has been vacationing here for the past 5 years and has been raving about it. We finally contacted the charming owners to set up a vacation up there and can't wait to go back. I'm just sorry that the word is getting out about this gem of a house, seeing as we will be wanting to go back for years to come.!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway
