Other Notes:

The house is in a country setting with a long gravel driveway through a woods while being close to everything.

The house has well water direct from the rock formations below, not "chemicalised city water". It has a softener which removes iron and makes the water nice for cleaning. However there is a residual mineral smell, noticeable on the cold water. The water is safe for drinking also. There is no chlorine or chlorine smell in this water as it is not required. The fridge water/ice station has no smell at all (additional filtering). Both tap and fridge water make good coffee. If the mineral smell is bothersome in the bathroom, run the bathroom fan for 10 in. after flushing the toilet.

Shower water will not smell if you use all hot (it's set at about 110 deg. F). If you want to take a bath, run hot water and let it stand for 15 min. and the smell dissipates (de-gasses).
