What a great condo! My family had a wonderful stay. For those who want a very affordable vacation getaway I highly recommend staying here. I will admit their are quite a bit of jellyfish on the beach, but in all fairness so does the ocean..the USS Lexington is just a short walk down the beach. There is a lot of great things to do and a lot of
Things to see. Thanks Abby for a wonderful stay and look toward to coming back in the near future!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

Great little condo

Stayed here for a week. Great complex (Villa Del Sol). We spend many happy hours in the pool(s) and loved being so close to the beach. Wasn't really swimming season at the beach - lots of jellyfish, but still a great spot to stay and play. Condo was comfortable. Construction on the building during our stay, but it didn't bother us at all. No noises early mornings or late nights. Minor problems in the unit, addressed in adequate time by rental agent. Great communication from rental agent.
Loved feeding the 'ocean birds' (as my daughter called them) every night. Like the close proximity to many attractions. Would recommend Blackbeard's Restaurant for a great meal and live entertainment.
Should we visit this area in the future, we would stay here again.

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Not the kind of getaway we had in mind

The condo had renovations going on during our stay. We had construction workers literally hammering and sawing right outside of our condo door at 8AM every morning during the week. The workers would holler to each other down the hallways. The workers were there until 5PM each day.
The entire condo had a musty, mildewy odor to it that never dissapated. We bought an air freshner but it didn't help. The sheets on the bunk beds and double bed had a funny odor to them so much so that my daughters refused to sleep on the bunk beds(it wasn't a laundry soap smell). We didn't know that we would have to wash bath towels for showering by day #2 because there were only 4 large towels in the condo to use for the entire stay. No extra rolls of toilet paper were left for us (all we had was the roll on the dispenser). We checked out a day early because everyone was ready to go back home and get a decent nights sleep and be able to sleep in past 8AM.
