Serene Mountain Home in Durango

Wake up to views of wildlife out your window while you lounge in bed!  Start your day with breakfast on the south facing deck and prepare for your day of adventure on the Durango-Silverton train or skiing at Durango Mountain- Purgatory. On the other hand why not spend hours walking, bike riding or on horseback on many of miles of trails in the San Juan National Forest and the Weminuche Wilderness area (both just minutes away).  You could spend your day just relaxing and breathing in the quiet mountain air.  Read a good book on the deck. Watch for hawks, eagles, wild turkeys, deer and elk that share the meadows that define the 22 acre property.  Have dinner in Durango at the many fine resturants or prepare one at home in the fully equiped kitchen.  Then relax with your favorite beverage on the west facing deck while watching the sunset or cuddle up in front of one of the two gas fireplaces. 

Two gas fireplaces, queen size and a full size bed, couch converts into a bed, fully equiped kitchen, washer, dryer, satellite television with a DVD and VCR players, stereo and CD player, garden tub, books, movie library. Pets accepted.

Bring your horse!  A section of the 22 acres is safely fenced with coated wire and  includes a large two stall barn, corral and round pen. 

Hiking, skiing, bike riding snowshoeing all from the front door. 

Board games 

 $200 per night, $1200 per week, $4,000 per month plus tax of 6.8%.  Pet fee-$25 per night.

$250 deposit holds your reservation and becomes a refundable security deposit
