Enjoy this beautiful custom log home on a 5 private acre view parcel. Acclaimed View Log Cabin is just a 12 mnute drive to downtown Homer Alaska. Expansive views of Kachemak Bay, Cook Inlet and three active volcanos, (Augustine Island, Mt. Illiamna and Mt. Redoubt) compliment this beautifully appointed classic custom log home. Most guests report Moose and other wildlife on the property. Sandhill cranes, Pheasant, abundant water fowl and other birds of prey. If you are lucky a black bear may wander through the property. Relax in total comfort in this fully furnished, convenient and beautiful log retreat.    

Ammenities include a complete kitchen with microwave and conventional ovens, gas range, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, cookware and place settings, a selection of seasonings and more.

Two or three bedrooms with queen, full and twin beds. The generous bathroom features a combination Jacuzzi tub and shower. Other ammenities include WiFi, DVD, TV, radio, outdoor BBQ, etc. All of this in a very quiet private setting with almost no traffic. Towels, paper products, bedding, guide materials ad local maps etc. All you need to add is your clothing, toiletries and sport gear. 

Famous fishing, a 2 mile walk (or 1 mile drive to trailhead) from the log home takes you to Diamond Creek Beach.

Homer is known for good art shopping, good restaurants and lots of friendly charm. Great birding on land and out on the Kachemak Bay.

Adventure activities include, ocean kayaking, hiking and boating, bird watching, sport fishing (ocean and river) for Halibut, King Salmon Sockeye Salmon, Silver Salmon, Long Cod etc. and bear and moose hunting.   

$210 per night for  2 persons. Add $20 per night for each additional occupant. Add $25 per night for stays less than 3 nights.
