The beach here along the Chesapeake Bay is a secret well-hidden from most tourist visiting Virginia Beach. The surprisingly wide stretch of beach provides plenty of room to enjoy the day as you please: swimming, fishing, volleyball or simply sunbathing. The gentle surf is great for children or just relaxing on a float in the water. For early-risers, the beach offers an inspiring sunrise. The Virginia Beach Resort area is a short drive away if you want to spend a day there. And there's plenty to do, day or night... golfing, fishing, kayaking, biking, surfing, shopping, tennis, and museums.
