Welcome to Lake Lure House located on Lake Lure - voted one of the most beautiful lakes in the world.  We enjoy panaromic views of the lake and colorful Bald Mountain from almost every room.  This location is less than 5 minutes from the beach, restaurants, and spa of downtown Lake Lure.  You will pass our boat dock first when riding on the Lake Lure Showboat that will entertain you with local stories and folk lore including a visit to the famous Dirty Dancing movie location - straight across the lake from our back porch!  

Lake Lure House is an open/bright 1000sf floor plan with the living room, dining room and kitchen in one central room. There are 5 sets of historic french doors around the house which provide sweeping views and plenty of light.  It has two bedrooms - each with a queen size bed, a sectional sofa, and one bathroom.  The accommodations are best suited for 4 adults and 1 or 2 children.  The partially-screened wrap-around porch is a wonderful place to enjoy morning coffee in the rocking chairs or an afternoon picnic.  We have a fully functional kitchen, dining for 6 and bar seating for 3.   Free wireless internet. A television with a DVD player is also available.  Feel free to keep your boat in the boathouse - 8' (opening) x 20' or tie up to the 30' by 20' dock.  There is a washer and dryer in the laundry room on the lower level.   

The front door is located at street level, but the backporch elevation is 25'.  Young children should not be allowed on the back or side porches without adult supervision.

Responsbile renter's minimum age is 25!

Check in is 3:00 pm EST and check out is 10:00 am EST.  NO early check-ins. 

Maximum occupancy is 6

Please NO pets and NO smoking.  Burning is NOT allowed.

DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT - A damage/reservation deposit of $150 is required to book reservation.  It is fully refundable within 14 days of departure, providing the following provisions are met.

     A.  No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.

     B.  No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets, or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.

     C.  All debris, rubbish, and discards are placed in dumpster, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned. 

     D.  NO linens are lost or damaged.  Used bedsheets are striped from beds.  One load of laundry is started in washing machine.

     E.  All keys are returned and unit is left locked.

     F.  No early check-ins or late checkout.

     G.  The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, or the security company.

The damage/reservation deposit does NOT apply to rent.

3.  Booking is secured when we receive:

      A.  50% deposit / Balance due 20 days prior to rental date

      B.  $150 Refundable Security Deposit

      C.  Signed Rental Agreement - (email, fax or First Class Mail)

4.  Total Bill =  Rental ( $1250/wk or $200/nt - 2 nt min) + $75 cleaning fee + 11.75% sales tax + $150.00 Refundable Security Deposit.

5.  Full refund with 60 days cancelation notice / 50% refund with 30-60 days cancelation notice.

Refundable security deposit will be mailed within 14 business days of checkout when property is found in satisfactory condition.
