Family Retreat in South Haven

This home is perfectly located for total enjoyment of everything South Haven has to offer!  Within walking distance of the unique shops and fine dining downtown as well as the beaches and biking trails.  There is a fenced in backyard, porch with patio table and chairs, picnic table, and grill.  A basketball hoop in the driveway with basketballs and beach toys for the kids are also available.  There is also a front porch with chairs to relax after a day at the beach in this beautiful family oriented neighborhood.  The large, fully equipped kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher, disposal, and lots of cupboard space for storage.  Two full bathrooms, both with tub and shower, one has been newly remodeled.  There is a family room with a 32" flatscreen and DVD player.  A den off the family room provides a place for the kids to play games, watch tv, or an extra bedroom for more guests.  It has a TV with DVD player and a futon that will sleep two.  There are three bedrooms upstairs.  Two very large bedrooms each contain a queen size bed, TV, and a bunk bed with double futon on the bottom and twin on top.  The third bedroom contains a double bed.  New carpet throughout home and central air conditioning for your comfort in the summer months.  A laundry room with washer and dryer are provided.  There is also a clean dry basement to store beach items and luggage.

South Haven is not only home to many unique shops and restaurants, but it is also home to The Friends GoodWill Tall Ship, many local wineries, and farms where you can pick or purchase blueberries, cranberries, apples, and more!  There are many festivals including - Harborfest (mid-June), Vintage Boat Show, Classic Car Show, Fourth of July parades, fireworks and activities, Blueberry Festival (early August), Arts and Crafts Show, Icebreaker Festival (February).  There are several State Parks close by including the popular Kal-Haven Trail that has 37 miles of biking and walking trails.  South Haven has its own movie theatre right downtown as well as Lakeside Entertainment Center which includes bowling and miniature golf.  In addition to gorgeous sunsets, there are outdoor concerts during summer evenings along the riverfront.  South Haven is known for its perch fishing and there are charter boats available or bring your own and use one of the launching facilities only blocks away!

Nightly rental rates are based on a 2 night minimum stay.
