Cozy Lakefront Log Cabin in Norris Lake

We have no doubt that you will love our special cabin as much as we have. Nestled among huge hardwood trees with a calming backdrop of the lake provides a setting that is beyond perfect & peaceful. Enjoy the hammock swaying in the breeze or put your feet up and relax on one of our three decks overlooking Norris Lake. If it is chilly build a bon-fire and snuggle up! We cherish the quality family time we share with our three children. You make the choice of- playing on the Lake (Our kids especially enjoy tubing!) – dining at one of the close by marinas for lunch or pack a picnic – take a nap - read a book – play games - go sight-seeing, hiking, biking , rafting or take a 45 minute drive into Knoxville (There you can find just about anything!). You are surrounded by breath-taking views. We are always awestruck by the sunsets. As the sun sinks between the mountains it reflects off of the water while at the same time the sky is painted with countless shades of pink & orange. We love it!

The cabin’s interior is comfortable and cozy. The family room has two leather couches and a fantastic stone, wood burning fireplace. There are two bathrooms (one up & one down) with step-in showers and two bedrooms (one up & one down) that have king size beds. Climb a ladder to the loft that over-looks the family room. It has three twin beds (a trundle and another twin). The kitchen is fully equipped with everything to make cooking simple. There is a full size, front load washer & dryer in the downstairs closet. Vaulted, cedar ceilings give an open & airy feeling to the cabin. Also there is a screened porch that has a dining and sitting area that overlooks the lake. We have done our best to give our cabin all the conveniences & special touches of home.

Outside there are three decks all with views of the lake. We have added natural stone paths that lead from the driveway to the cabin, front porch, to the decks, and the dock. The trees are tremendous and keep things fairly cool in the summer with all of the shade. There is usually a breeze coming from the lake. The trees also provide unimaginable colorful leaves through the fall season. Comparatively speaking, we have a gradual slope to the lake to reach our large private dock that also has two wave-runner platforms. We have just short of 400 feet of lake frontage. Our property juts out and curves around adding to the surrounding water view. Norris Lake has 800 miles of shore line that wind through the foothills and much of the shoreline is a protected forestry and wildlife area keeping the lake very natural. The lake is very deep and unbelievably clear. There is ongoing adventure on the lake – We spend the entire day and relish every second!
