Cottages at Camp Ruxton : Two Vacation Rentals in Manitou Springs

Nestled deep within Englemann Canyon and at the base of Pike's Peak, Cottages at Camp Ruxton offers vintage Manitou charm at its best!  At an altitude of 6400 feet, our climate conditions of dry air and cool nights require no air conditioning. Our location with two separate cottages is ideal for either single cottage rental or two couple getaways.  They offer two separate covered porches and patios for savoring Colorado's fresh air and sunshine.  The cottages overlook our beautiful private garden area with its many bird varieties.  A gas grill and patio table with umbrella is provided for  outdoor cooking in comfort.  At night, total privacy prevails in two separate cottages.  Contact us for our Two Couple Cottage deals. 

These delightful cottages are situated high above Ruxton Creek with its relaxing background sounds.  Within three blocks is located downtown Manitou Springs with its quaint shops and fine restaurants.  We are within three blocks of the Cog Railway, Iron Springs Chateau Dinner Theater and Miramont Castle.  Barr Trail, The Incline and Intemann Trail are favorite hiking destinations located close to our cottages.  This is the perfect place to leave your car parked in our off street covered parking space and experience Manitou's many charms on foot.

Built in 1900, the historic front cottage offers rustic Colorado charm with beaded board walls, oak flooring and comfortable seating in which to relax.  The living room includes flat panel tv, free internet access, game table with benches and an electric fireplace.  The kitchen is newly remodeled with green tile counter tops and beaded board walls.  A full beautifully remodeled bathroom offers a pedestal sink, custom tile tub with shower and beaded board walls.   The bedroom is furnished with a queen sized bed which comfortably sleeps two.  A covered porch offers privacy and seating in which to enjoy our delightful garden.  The only sound at night is the rippling of Ruxton Creek.    

The second smaller cottage has been completely updated in modern cowboy style and features a queen sized bed, a comfortable sitting area, flat screen tv and free internet access.  Thel kitchen offers green tile counter tops, undercounter refrigerator, gas stove top as well as a comfortable place in which to enjoy relaxing meals.  The remodeled bathroom features a custom tiled shower.   Whether one cottage or two suits your needs, this setting at the foot of Pikes Peak offers the perfect quiet relaxing retreat.

Cottages are smoke free inside and outside. This includes all smoking even candles and incense.  We do not accept pets.  We require payment in full at time of booking.  There is a two night minimum. If Calendar shows reserved, one cottage may still be available.  We don't post dates as unavailable unless both cottages are taken.  So please call to confirm.

Check in time is 4 PM or later.  Late check-ins can be accomodated by special arrangements with owners.  Check out is no later than 11 AM.
