     Welcome to Sea Oaks Retreat, our vacation getaway in sea side Pawleys Island, SC!  Sea Oaks Retreat is a very private home, close to the beach and a step or so away from the Litchfield golf club, Pawleys Islands original recreational golf resort enclave with beaches near by, tennis, a driving range, superior golf and club restaurant at your disposal.  The landscape of this single family estate is adorned with old live oak trees providing dappled light for cool outside activities and from which we derived our name.  Ocean swimming and sunning on the beach are just a short 3 minute drive across 17 or just jump into our private heated pool and spa. 

       Our retreat sports gracious Charleston architecture and design, spacious entertaining areas including 3 living rooms, bright terraces overlooking lawns and gardens, a private pool and spa.  The rear garden/lawn over looking the distant fairway, is fenced so your four footed loved ones can run to his or her hearts content.

     So bring the family, bring your dogs, bring your Mother-in-law to Sea Oaks Retreat as vacations are just not complete without them...or not!  We also can recommend separate hospitality or daycare for your pets.  Mother-in-laws...thats your problem.

     This gracious two story pastel painted brick Charleston style designed home, with an entracne openning into a two story circular staired foyer entrance with 3 oversized bedrooms with sitting areas on the second floor, and the first floor master suite includes its own large spa tub (3 bedrooms are en suite with dressing/secretary rooms). There are 3.5 baths in all, 4100 sq ft of 3 zoned, temperature controled living space, situated on a maturely planted, private one acre site, with a oversized 2 car garage, comfortable off street parking, abundant, sunfilled terraces, 1.0 acre of mature fenced in lawns and garden areas.

     To the rear of the home is situated a  gorgious saline heated pool and spa, private terraces for sunning and entertaining, a grand  24  x 34 foot vaulted ceilinged, sun filled, well appointed solarium with dry bar,  fireplace, widescreen video, and surround sound audio which is available in many rooms including the adjoing terrace. 

     Also included is a large breakfast dining area, dining bar with seating for 9, ample kitchen with adequite amenities including a double oven, dining room with leather seating for 10, a large library with wide screen media sectional seating, desk for any office work, and additional fireplace.

     A visit to Sea Oaks should be a time for solitude, recreation, walks on the beach, perfecting ones golf strokes, attending to things personal.  Our home offers a large setting to accomodate 10+ people very comfortably with 4 king bed  bedrooms.  All suites have their own flat screen TV and sitting areas for those who wish to retire from group activities and enjoy their own space. The library sports a queen sleeper sofa with comfortable electic air mattress to round out sleeping areas.

Our pet friendly home as well sports pet grooming equipment in the laundry and a fenced in rear half acre lawn/garden area that is separated by an additional fence from the pool-terrace area for appropriate pet control.

     Golf and dining are a walk away at the Litchfield Country Club, or take to the streets and quiet alleyways of for all that Pawleys Island has to offer in dining, shopping, and old fashion family fun. Or take a longer drive to Myrtle Beach and enjoy the hub-bub and attractions that this entertainment mecca has to offer knowing you can go back to the quiet solitude of Sea Oaks Retreat at the end of the day.

     Entertain family & guests on our expansive private pool & Heated spa detailed terrace with distant views of the Litchfield Country Club 9th hole fairway.  A large gas grill is on the terrace to round out food preparation options.

     With Golf a walk away, private pool and spa at your door as starters one can find tennis at Litchfield CC, a miraid of health and fitness acitvities at HeathPoint...just outside the entrance to our Litchfield Country Club community, boating, fishing, claming, kayaking, shopping, fine fooding and an endless array of activities in town, in Georgetown, and in more distant Myrtle Beach(20 miles) or perhaps a day trip to Charleston(50 miles).  There is Huntington State Park that stretches 2 miles along our shore to hike and beach and sun at, there is the famous Brookfield Gardens to walk and appreciate a grand array of plantings and garden designs.  Its just nice to know you can excercise your fastinations on the Grand Strand knowing you can come home to Sea Oaks Retreat to rest for another day!
