Lavaca Bay Retreat in Port Lavaca

A wonderful 3 bedroom water-front home has a large screened-in porch so you can enjoy the great water view in comfort.  It has a lighted pier and fishing lights for night fishing.  Large lot with tropical foliage and plenty of parking.  The house sleeps 8 comfortably.  It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, kitchen, dining, living area, utility.  Master bedroom has 1 queen and 2 twins.  2nd Bedroom Queen and 3rd bedroom 2 twins.  Master bath huge tiled walk-in with bench.

House has central air and heat.  The kitchen has a stove/oven and everything you need for cooking.  Plates, glasses, pots and pans, utensils, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee pot are all provided.  Gas grill.  Full size washer and dryer.  The living room includes satellite TV and DVD player. Private 200' lighted fishing pier with landing net and cleaning table with electricity and fresh water.  Free boat ramp within a mile.  We provide bed linens, towels.  PLEASE BRING THINGS such as  PAPER TOWELS,, STORAGE BAGS, BEACH TOWELS, BUG SPRAY, SUNTAN LOTION and of course YOUR FISHING GEAR and FOOD. 

Bay has red fish, shark, trout, flounder, gafftops and blue crabs. If you have a boat it’s a ride of less then 15 minutes to 5 bays (Chocolate, Lavaca, Cox, Keller and Matagorda). If you don’t have a boat there are miles of beach to fish. Just park your car and start fishing.

For the birding enthusiast, the area is teaming with a large variety of bird species including Rosette Spoonbills, Reddish Egrets, Gulf and Tern species, Rails and Snipe, wintering Geese, Sandhill Cranes and White-tailed Hawks. You might even see endangered peregrine falcons, wood storks or brown pelicans and many more. 

Minimum 2 night stay; Check in time 3:00 PM, check out Noon.  Monthly rate is negotiable.

RESERVATIONS and DEPOSITS:

Advance rental reservations are required. An advance security deposit of $100.00 is required to confirm your reservations. Upon arrival, it shall act as a security deposit during your stay.                                                                                                                       Deposit is not refundable for cancellations made less than 2 weeks prior to arrival.

Rates Quoted are for up to 8 guest only.  Any guest over 8 in your party will be $10.00 per  person.  Number of guest in your party is required at check-in.  ALL rents due must be paid in FULL prior to check in.  No refunds will be given for early departures or for weather related reasons other than tropical storm or hurricane. So plan ahead carefully.

DEPOSIT REFUNDS:

Upon inspection of property, deposits will be returned within 10 days.  If any inventory is found to be missing, damaged or destroyed, entire deposit may be forfeited.
