Our beautiful, cozy, well equipped, and well maintained vacation cabin is Paradise for fall foliage viewers, fly fishermen, hikers, rock climbers, mountain bikers, rafters, kayakers, antique seekers, birders, sportsmen/athletes/adventure seekers and non sportsmen as well. You are 10 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway!!!

Visit our lovely, 2 story 2 bedroom 3 bath cottage nestled in the woods, surrounded by rhododendron and mountain laurel in a lush setting, but in a secure community. You are high and dry in this well stocked and comfortable home away from home.

The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable vacation experience. It is  stocked with all linens, a full kitchen, and comfortable furniture. There is a  wraparound deck that provides a wonderful wooded view (which you can enjoy from inside the cabin as well due to the wall to wall windows in the living room). You are within 15 minutes of Blowing Rock, a small artsy town filled with great restaurants and shopping. The city of Boone is also about a 15 minute drive, and  will allow you to fill your grocery cart with fine foods and fill your cultural heart with good music and plays.

After a day out, spend the evening soaking in the hot tub, listening to the sounds of nature on our deck, choosing a book from our reading library, watching a movie from our DVD selection... or just CHILLING OUT.

A short distance from your vacation getaway is the world famous Watauga River where you can fish for Brown, Brook or Rainbow Trout. The area is filled with other rivers and streams to fish from or hike along.

There are outfitters available for rafting, kayaking, horse back riding, a zip line adventure,  canoeing, caving, fishing, hiking, and just about every other interesting sporting pursuit...or just set out on your own.

In the fall, this is one of the premier destinations for viewing the changing foliage. In the winter, enjoy skiing and snow boarding at 5 resorts close by. Also take part in golf, Family Billiards, Grandfather Mountain (includes a small zoo, museum, picnicking, a mile high bridge and hiking on this private mountain), historic general stores, antique-ing, gem mining for the kids, rock climbing, private stocked trout ponds/fishing nearby, a world class spa...and MORE.
