This Mediterranean style villa is located on a private island right in between the Intracoastal Waterway and the ocean in the vacation town of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. A private beach club, is only a few minutes walk away, offering tables, BBQ grills, outside showers and shade. Surfboards, beach chairs and coolers are in the two car garage for your enjoyment while you vacation with us. The 4000 square feet of living space is finished with the highest grade materials, with 24' marble tiles throughout the 1st floor. The 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor have en suite beautiful marble bathrooms. 1 of the bedrooms has a king size bed, 2nd bedroom downstairs has 3 twin beds which may be converted into a king on request, featuring a 42'HD TVs and DVD for entertainment. A castle like entrance hall 2 stories high with a large chandelier leads into a generous living room with views to the water. The home connoisseur will appreciate the faux paintings and many custom built wood features that make this a true custom home. A 62' built in HD TV and the latest model BOSE life style 5.1 surround sound system make for great entertainment; so does the full bar with a Subzero wine cooler, a custom built in cigar humidor, ice maker, bar dishwasher, bar TV and built in industrial style beer kegerator (filled upon request). The kitchen offers a 5 burner gas stove with a pot filler, double ovens, built in microwave and warming drawer. The double size Subzero refrigerator completes the high end line of VIKING appliances, not to forget the fresh bean grinding self timed coffee maker. All counter tops in the kitchen, island, and bar are solid granite. The dining room features a 'hot spot' with a restaurant like heated serving station for the perfect family holiday dinner. We do offer catering and bartending service upon request.
The second floor features two master suites, each with private bathroom. Master bedroom has a king size bed. The second suite has 2 sets of bunk beds with a full size bed on bottom and a twin on top, a trundle and an extra twin bed. The floors are made of wood and the centerpiece berber carpet. Each suite has its own balcony and flat screen TV, and a hammock and chaises offer relaxing ways to enjoy the sunset. There is a separate laundry room with washer and dryer for each floor, along with a built in ironing board. The garden hosts a Jacuzzi spa that overflows into a nature rock pool and both are heated for the winter and salt water chlorinated to be gentle on eyes and skin. The WEBER stainless BBQ connected to permanent natural gas ( never run out of gas ...) offers a great way to enjoy the outside, and the sitting area and chaises with 3 sun umbrellas offer great views to the yacht traffic on the Intracoastal Waterway. The house has a dock with power and water offering space for up to a 60'foot yacht and access to the Atlantic Ocean without fixed bridges. Jet Ski and watercraft rentals are available upon request.
The city provides a free shuttle service from the island to restaurants, shops and supermarkets in the area called 'The Pelican Hopper'; no need to drive after enjoying some wine or beer over dinner; just make the call and the Hopper comes and picks you up to return you safely back home.
