Best Kept Secret in Mt Pleasant

I stayed in a one bedroom cottage on December 9, 2011. My stay was excellent. I very much enjoyed the residents, location and the clean cottage. The cottage was very clean and set up nicely. Everyone was so helpful. I will look no futher to find a place again. I felt at home there. I hope to one day live there permanent.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, girls getaway, pet-friendly, romantic getaway

It felt like home

We came to charleston to see my father who is sick. I found ths place and it was fabulous. The staff and the residents were great. It is a retirement community but it's go for anybody who likes a safe and low key place to stay. I will stay here again and they are pet friendly with small dogs. We loved it.

Recommended for: age 55+, people with disabilities, pet-friendly, sight seeing

Our visit to Mt. Pleasant, SC

Upon arrival at 6:30pm, we found the cottage had not been cleaned. The desk immediately contacted housekeeping, and in an hour we were able to get into the cottage. We were not charged for this night, which we appreciated. The staff was very friendly and accomodating during our wait. Other than our initial check in, we were satisfied with the accomodations. We would have like to have had a couple of patio chairs, as there is a small patio off the living room. We inquired at the desk, but were told there were no chairs available. The property was well maintained and the staff was friendly. I would stay here in the future, and recommend it to others.

Again I am so sorry the cottage was not cleaned when you arrived. I am very embarressed over this mishap. As I explained to you, we are new in this vacation rental business and feel fortunate that it has been as successful as it has been. I am glad you all enjoyed your stay and found the cottage to be nice. Thanks for the suggustion of patio chairs, we have them now, but sorry we couldn't get them there in time for you to enjoy them.
Call us in the future if you are traveling this way!
