vacation rental description
Hi there, and welcome to Old Orchard Beach! Our beautiful, cozy (1100 sq feet), three bedroom home is a short 10 minute stroll from the 7-mile beach and a short walk to downtown, the Pier, shops, restaurants, and amusement park. We're also only a two minute walk to the Salvation Army Seaside Pavilion! We're close enough to the O.O.B. action to have a GREAT time, but far enough away when you want peace and quiet.
We newly remodeled every room in this house ourselves in 2009 and we’re still married! This home accomodates 6 very comfortably and can sleep 9 if a couple of folks are willing to bunk up on a couch bed (the ends move to the middle to create a full bed) or fold out the extra futon in the master bedroom (no worries! There's a queen size memory foam bed in there as well). We have a two car driveway plus plenty of free street parking available. This is a pet and smoke free home (please feel free to smoke outside of course).

All linens included! Yup! That's right...sheets, blankets, bath towels, beach towels, kitchen towels (Yay)! Of course laundering of all your own linens is expected upon your departure (we know...kind of a bummer).
We provide laundry detergent for you to use our front-load washer! We also have a dryer, as well as drying racks to provide you the option to air-dry your clothing inside or out.
Air Conditioning in each of the 3 bedrooms (after the 1st week in June) and fans for the rest of the house.
Cable T.V. Channels 1 through 23, 100 through 187, and all music channels above 800. We also have DVR!

First of all, PLEASE check out Old Orchard Beach Maine Activites online to find out GREAT festivals, dates, and events right in Old Orchard! (I'd definitely Google it and follow the site...not permitted to post websites here)
Secondly…Walk to the beach! (8-10 minute walk)
Then…
-Palace Playland amusement park on the beach
-Fireworks on the beach every Thursday evening (9:45 PM) throughout
the summer from June 23rd through Labor Day. (There’s also a GREAT July 4th fireworks show)
-Pirates Cove mini golf
- Old Orchard Beach Pier
-Lots of beach shops, restaurants, live bands, and more!

Rental weeks run from Saturday through Saturday.
2012 through 2013 Seasons:
$975 per week rate includes--- All May weeks through to the 1st week of June
$1250 per week rate includes--- June through August
MULTI-WEEK AND MONTHLY RENTAL DISCOUNTS
Book any 2 consecutive weeks and receive a $150 total discount
Book any 3 consecutive weeks and receive a $300 total discount
Book any 4 consecutive weeks and receive a $600 total discount
**Ask about our seasonal WINTER rental rates - September 1st through Spring (when colleges let out)**
We require a Security Deposit of $300.00 which we send back to you the SAME DAY as your departure via Bank of America Check (monthly winter security deposit rates differ).
(NOTE: 7% Maine Lodging TAX not included)
