Palmas Del Mar Caribbean Golf, Tennis, Casino & Swim Resort in Puerto Rico

This two bedroom, full bath condo is located just inside the main gate of the Fairway Courts, so aptly named as it is built around one of the many attractions of Palmas del Mar, The Tennis Club, the largest tennis facility in the Caribbean.

The home boasts an open floor plan for the living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen includes all the amenities you would expect at home, including a microwave, toaster, electric stove, oven, full size refrigerator and a coffee maker. And it wouldn't be a Caribbean kitchen without the blender for those frozen treats on any hot day!

The living room and dining room are the perfect space to lounge with the family, play a game of cards or enjoy an evening movie. The book shelves are lined with a library of interesting reads for the pool or the beach, fiction and non-fiction. A collection of menus, recommendations, brochures, letters and pictures can be found in the Puerto Rico binder. Feel free to add anything you would like! There is also a selection of board games, card games and DVD's.

Just in case you can't completely get away from it all, your home away from home is also furnished with a desk, printer and WIFI services.

Overlook the man made water features and watch the palm leaves sway in the breeze as you enjoy your morning coffee in the bliss of Puerto Rico on your full length furnished balcony just outside the living space.The view also includes the area's pool and hot tub, just steps from your vacation home. Comfortable chairs and umbrellas are provided to guests at no charge. Both the main living area and master bedroom open onto this beautiful balcony by way of large sliding glass doors. You may never keep them closed.

The master bedroom holds a plush top king size bed with a full closet and chest of drawers. A 32' flat screen with cable is also provided. The second bedroom also holds a plush top king size bed with a full closet and chest of drawers. This smaller bedroom has it's own private balcony.

The full bath has tub and shower and a dual sink vanity. A full size washer and dryer are provided.

All linens are included - even beach towels! We also provide beach totes, cooler travel mugs, sand toys for the kids and plenty of Ziplocs for beach snacks. A crib and high chair can also be assembled prior to your arrival upon request.

We are 100% pet friendly with an additional deposit.

Private parking for up to two vehicles is provided. Golf cart rentals are available on the resort and really add to the adventure, giving you absolute freedom to explore the entire resort without walking or driving. The resort was made for golf carts, and you can find a golf path to almost any location. For your convenience, Vias car rental has a location in Palmas. There is a private parking space for your rented cart as well.

Palmas del Mar is filled with amenities that make this place worthy of it's title as a world renowned resort destination. 

The Shops at Palmanova Plaza

The Shops at Palmanova Plaza provide everything you would need if you are the vacationer who never wants to leave the resort. Grab all of your groceries from the market located centrally in the Plaza. Pick up a souvenir from one of the small shops which line the court yard or enjoy lunch or dinner at any of the many choices of the Plaza – including the Blue Hawaii, Pura Vida, La Brochette, Latino’s Place, Café de le Plaza, or the brand new C-Bar. Shop, dine or simply relax in the courtyard among the water fountains and enjoy a cup of coffee.

Palmas del Mar Tennis  

The Tennis Club offers the largest tennis facility in the Caribbean. Palmas is a tennis lover’s dream with 20 courts; 2 artificial grass Omni Courts, 4 Har-Tru clay courts and 14 hard courts, many of which are lighted for night play. The Center offers activities that include tennis clinics for all levels, tennis cardio workout sessions, and private lessons.

The outdoor café, the Center Court Bar and Grill, holds the reputation of offering the best burgers in all Palmas del Mar and is the perfect late afternoon snack - just steps away from your villa. You don't need to play tennis to enjoy a cocktail at sunset or a mimosa in the morning at this little bar.

Absorb breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea as you indulge your passion for golf in one of  two championship 18-hole golf courses located inside Palmas del Mar.

Although Palmas del Mar has so much to offer; the Golf in Palmas Del Mar is certainly one of the top draws to the resort.  The Flamboyán Course offers picture views of the ocean that will keep you coming back for more. The Palm Course, is a resort style course with its tropical landscape and breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, water hazards, strategic bunkers and undulating greens.

Beach Bohio

The Beach Bohio is our favorite little beach spot. It is located just as you arrive at the beach entrance. It has a delicious beach-ie menu and makes frozen drinks to order - 'Con y Sin' original Puerto Rican Rum. (That's 'with or without' for the tourists!) You can often find performers there on the weekends and a relaxing sunset over the Caribbean is sure to please.

Anchor’s Village Marina

If you are looking for a fancy night out, the marina is the place to head. Eclectic Bars and Bistros are open in the evenings and the marina is home to Chez Daniel’s – the finest of fine French cuisine dining. You’ll enjoy an award winning menu in a candle lit setting all encompassed with beautiful cascading views of the mountains and waterside. Simply delicious in every way! 

Horse Back Riding

If horseback riding is one of those things that you enjoy, you should certainly do it during your visit to Puerto Rico.  Imagine yourself on a beautiful horse, riding along miles of pristine white sandy beaches, tropical forests, and crystal blue waters.  Carefully planned trails run for miles within the community of Palmas del Mar and take you through manicured golf courses, exposing you to breathtaking views of the resort, and giving you the unique experience of riding a Paso fino along beautiful and undisturbed beaches.

 A Romantic Evening…

The Wyndam Resort is only steps away from your villa and hides the perfect setting for great conversation, sultry wines and a romantic ambiance at The Circle Wine Bar and Cellar. This menu offers a variety of great wines, enticing cocktails, tasty treats and features late-night bites – open till 3 a.m. on the weekends! Wyndam is also home to Palmas del Mar’s Las Vegas style Casino equipped with table games and slots. The casino and restaurant are open to all resort guests.  

All for the Kids…

Experience the splendor of the tropics at the Beach Club. The best part about the Beach Club? It holds a magical Caribbean water park behind its lush tropical foliage. Imagine your kids rediscovering fun in the sun in a tower of twisting 16 ft water slides with over 200 ft of pure excitement. An 1,100 sq ft. water works play system awaits the little ones, with a wading pool with its own slides, spray jets, and a giant spill bucket. This club is available for an additional daily charge.

Old San Juan Tour

You will pass through some of the newer sections of San Juan before crossing over on to the island of Old San Juan, connected by bridges to mainland Puerto Rico. Your tour should absolutely include Fort San Cristobal, which successfully defended Puerto Rico from attack by the British and Dutch in centuries gone Explore the old city on foot and visit sites such as Plaza de Armas, San Juan Cathedral, La Plazoleta de la Rogativa, a grand statue commemorating the salvation of the old city in the 16th century. You should also visit Plaza San Jose, as well as the gardens of Casa Blanca and San Juan Gate. Give yourself plenty of free time for lunch and shopping in the many boutiques and outlets that line the historical cobblestone streets before returning to your villa.

El Yunque

Part of the U.S. National Forest System, El Yunque boasts over 240 varieties of plants and receives an average of 200 inches of rainfall each year.   Visit Coca Falls, stop at Yokahú Tower which commands a view of the entire northeast coast of Puerto Rico, and hike along the Caimitillo trail. Be sure to bring bottled water! Guided tours are available but we prefer and suggest self-guided walks.

For the real adventurer, take on the hike to La Mina Falls. This hike is approximately 45 minutes going downhill and a 55 minute hike return – all up hill. The pain is well worth it when you arrive at the beautiful waterfall and swimming hole at Las Minas, where you can wade in the water, or simply relax and take in the beautiful and exotic surroundings.

Bio Bay

Under the blanket of night sky and the historical lighthouse of Fajardo you can touch the waters that glow with bio-luminescent micro-organisms. Take a two person leisure kayak trip through the mangrove forests into a secret lagoon bathed in moonlight. Little ones can ride with a parent. The guides make sure you are on the right track to the lagoon as it does get very dark. Once you reach Laguna Grande, relax and watch the sparkling swirls of water created by the paddles flow through the water and search for amazing streaks of light created by darting fish. Truly a beautiful and amazing part of Puerto Rico.

Snorkeling

While the beautiful beach, just walking distance from your villa, will provide you with ample snorkeling waters, the avid snorkeler may want to partake in some of the wonderful tours offered centrally at Palmas Del Mar. Travel to Monkey Island for as little as $65 pp, Vieques Island for $75 pp or take a whole day adventure and travel out to the beautiful and private Culebra Island for $200 pp. All trips include instruction by the captain, life jackets, snorkeling equipment, beer, soda and snacks.
