While cozy enough for an intimate group of friends or family, this two-story, three bedroom, two bath Mt. Hood vacation rental is deceptively large, and can comfortably accommodate a group of up to ten guests.

Mountain decor and warm woods throughout offer a rustic yet comforting appeal. The open and spacious great room boasts sky-high ceilings and is the perfect gathering place for game night or happy hour before dinner. An authentic gas fireplace disguised as a wood stove is set back in a custom stone inlay and produces an inviting glow. Cozy up with a book from the library and warm your body and soul.

The comfortable living room beckons you to come, sit, relax. Pick a DVD from the video library and enjoy a quiet movie night with friends. Or, pop in the mix CD you made for the trip to initiate an all family dance off!

An open and welcoming kitchen is well-stocked and ready for any culinary dish you wish to create, while the dishwasher makes clean-up a breeze (we don't want you to rough it TOO much!). Ample counter space and an eat-in bar seating all ten guests makes this an ideal spot for entertaining and catching up with the cooks while they prep.

The bedrooms are arranged on one side of the home, away from the living spaces, allowing those who tucker out more quickly than others to peacefully retreat into dreamtime while the others linger over a bottle of wine and a long conversation. Two bedrooms will be found on the lower level - one with two double beds with a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, the other with one double bed.

Upstairs, the third bedroom holds a quilted king-sized bed set back in a wooden enclave that will envelope you in rustic mountain ambiance. Tucked against the back wall of this room, in a snug den of its own, is a twin bed with a dresser and vanity. An additional futon mattress in this room makes it an ideal space for a family toting along a child or two.

The star feature of the Redstone cabin will be your own private outdoor fire pit in the back yard: a perfect place to swap stories passed down by generations while you roast marshmallows under the moonlight. While forest fire risks & local ordinance unfortunately means campfires aren't allowed from June - September, you can still lounge on the large deck while you grill up the catch of the day on the gas grill.

This cozy cabin offers gorgeous views of Huckleberry Mountain that will entice the explorer at heart to come out and play. And what a playground you'll find in the Mt. Hood National Forest! Redstone is just 20-35 minutes from prime skiing or snowboarding at SkiBowl, Meadows, or Timberline, as well as stellar hiking through the Salmon Huckleberry Wilderness area, and over 70 miles of trailheads.

For the fisherman or woman, the Salmon River is an excellent source of steelhead and chinook and coho salmon. The home is also adjacent to the Resort at the Mountain for excellent golfing, while a variety of restaurants and shops lie within a few minutes drive from the home.

Whether you're interested in a romantic couples' getaway, family reunion, writing or artists' retreat, or simply a much needed escape from the hustle and bustle of the work world, this three bedroom cabin will be your haven in the woods.
