Our Kauai vacation rental home is located in Haena, a sparsely
populated rural area with spectacular scenery and uncrowded beaches.
The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. Nearby Hanalei has a
population of approximately 1,200 people.
OUR HOME IS ONE OF THE CLOSEST HOMES TO TUNNELS BEACH THAT YOU CAN
STILL VACATION RENT DUE TO THE NEW CONSERVATION ZONING RESTRICTIONS
IN THE AREA.
Rest assured, we are not affected by the following new sanctions:
The state Department of Land and Natural Resources issued notices to
16 property owners in Ha‘ena to halt alleged unauthorized use of
multi-million-dollar homes as vacation rentals. Most of the 16
homes are on makai, or on the ocean side, of Kuhio Highway, from the
YMCA’s Camp Naue to Limahuli Stream. Most are clustered around Makua
Beach, also known as Tunnels. Owners have been ordered to cease and
desist renting after June 30th, and face fines of $2000 per day if
they persist in renting illegally.
Our rental home backs up to hundreds of acres of privately owned
conservation land, creating a beautiful private Panorama of the
Haena Mountains to Bali Hai and a very peaceful and serene
environment.
You can sit on our 90 foot lanai deck with your favorite beverage
and enjoy the unobstructed tropical view. Bananas, coconuts,
plumeria and orchids on the property. Most likely, the only other
inhabitants you will see are wild birds and occasionally there are
horses and cows in a large pasture next door.
This home is set far back from Kuhio Highway which ends in two
miles.
The largest reef in the main Hawaiian Islands is for great
snorkeling and top surfing "Tunnels" is only a short walk away.
Tropical pools for swimming and many waterfalls nearby. Easy level
access to sandy, almost deserted beach. Many of the world's top
rated beaches are right here in Haena and the North Shore! This area
has been chosen by producers and TV for their most exotic south seas
pictures. Great for a family!
If you prefer the private freedom to explore and enjoy unstructured
activities, such as swimming, fishing, hiking, or just enjoying the
scenery, you will love this unique Hawaiian home. Not a tract house
or condo.

tropical themed oil paintings. Porcelain tile floors with oriental

painted here, and can comfortably sleep 12 persons.
The rear of the home and outdoor shower and deck are isolated from
outside view, so complete sunbathing is possible if desired.

feet frost-free refrigerator, Color T.V. with Cable and CD/DVD/VCR
player, dishwasher and a microwave oven. There are two complete
indoor bathrooms and an outdoor hot and cold water shower.

Vacation Rental Rates
Weekly and Monthly Reservation Rates:
Weekly Rates- $1,950. per week up to 4 adults.
Christmas/New Years Rate $3000 up to 4 adults (20% discount if
booked before Dec. 8th, 2007)
Save with Monthly Rates- $6995. per month up to 4 adults.
15% surcharge for each additional person
There is no extra charge for minor children (11 years and under) in
a family.
All rates plus 11.41% Hawaii sales and hotel tax.
A $400.00 deposit for U.S. residents, $600 deposit for non-U.S.
residents will temporarily serve to hold a reservation for an open
period, provided a lease and 1/2 the rental payment are promptly
completed. The deposit, upon completion of your stay, and return of
the keys, will be refunded to you, less any charges. A non-
refundable clean-out fee of $200 is also required and is lower than
the Kauai standard clean-out rate. Additional cleaning for longer
stays will be arranged.
