Flor de Paraiso is a condo apartment, in a private, gated community, that is located in El Batey, the center of the town of Sosua - walking distance  to  Sosua beach and Playa Alicia.  It is also a short walk to restaurants, grocery stores, banks and shops. Sosua is a 12 minute ride from Puerto Plata International Airport. We offer free transportation to and from this airport.

Flor de Paraiso is a one bedroom apartment located on ground level, within The Garden Condos gated condominium community with immaculate, beautiful grounds epitomizing the tropical paradise you long to escape to.  The condo is fully furnished with tropical style furniture and original art to help you feel you are in your home away from home.  The fully equipped kitchen will make your stay hassel free.  The bedroom includes a comfortable queen size bed, drawers and table lamps. The room has two closets with mirrored doors.

The condo's ground level balcony overlooks the length of azure waters of the pool just a few steps away. Two outdoor chairs and table are situated on the balcony for your convenience.  A picnic area with barbecue and on premise gameroom are available for your enjoyment.  Secure, on premises parking is also included.

The historic town of Sosua is located on the north coast of the Dominican Republic.  It is in the Province of Puerto Plata and 12 minutes from the Gregorio Luperon International airport.  Sosua was home to many Jewish refugees beginning in 1939. It has retained a charm different from other cities of the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic is famous for it's friendly people and fantastic climate.  The North coast is popular for its beautiful beaches and exotic landscapes. 

Many Adventure tours are available that include diving, snorkelling, kite surfing, wind surfing, horesback riding, biking, tennis, four wheeling, river rafting, zip lining, whale watching -  January through end of February.  Nearby Cabarete offers many water sports and hosts a kitesurfing competition each year. Bus tours to special sites throughout the island are available from many tour companies.

Golf - two Robert Trent Jones Sr. 18 hole courses are available in  Playa Dorada and the amazingly beautiful Playa Grande Golf Course in Rio San Juan.

Casinos are nearby, nightlife and restaurants to suit any taste and budget.
 
If you prefer to relax, less than 3 minutes away is Playa Alicia or  10 minutes walk to Playa Sosua, a crescent-shaped bay with calm, clear turquoise water.  Sosua beach has an assortment of small cafes/bars, souvenir vendors. You may rent a lounger, umbrella and small table. The vendors will  purchase food and refreshments at your request from  the cafes/bars on the beach.

Car rentals are available if you choose to explore the island on your own.  Be prepared to dodge the motoconchos that serve as taxis to the locals.  You must drive defensively if you take on the challenge.
