This 4 bedroom, 2 1/4 bath home is located at an approximate elevation of 8400 feet just between Ouray and Ridgway. Enjoy the spectacular view of Mt. Sneffels from the great room and master suite, then gaze down to the Ridgway Valley from the private master suite deck. The home is decorated with cabin and western theme furnishings, and features vaulted wood ceilings, wood floors, rustic slate floors in the kitchen and bathrooms. The master suite is on the upper level with a second bedroom/den on the main level and two additional bedrooms in the lower level. The great room is the perfect place to sip a cup of coffee while watching the clouds float over one of the most amazing mountain ranges in the country. Or, if you are feeling adventurous, slip outside and relax in the hot tub with fresh air views of the surrounding mountain peaks and valleys. Located in a gated community, on an incredibly scenic 4.5 mile climb out of Ouray, this home is the epitome of a mountain getaway. Whether you like fishing, skiing, playing in the snow, biking, 4-wheeling, soaking in the hot springs, hiking, or just relaxing, the Ouray area offers it all. Please be aware that most roads in Ouray County are NOT paved. Although the road to our home is maintained, it does climb to an elevation of 8400 feet on a winding view-packed road. Low clearance cars are not recommended. PLEASE: No more than 8 guests.

The "Switzerland of America", Ouray's natural landscape is majestic and amazing! Enjoy the beauty of a copper colored mountaintop at over 12,000 ft in elevation. Feel the cool spray from rushing water over a mountain precipice. Catch a glimpse of an elk, deer or mountain goat munching on native grasses, or laugh over the antics of the many chipmunks, marmots and pika that run across the landscape. Ouray's outdoor playground leaves noone behind when it comes to rock climbing, jeeping, trail hiking, photography, shopping, swimming, fishing and just about any other adventure you can think of!

IMPORTANT:

A $300.00 reservation deposit is required to hold the property! $150.00 of this deposit will be applied to the rental rate with the balance due 30 days in advance of check-in. The remaining $150.00 will be held as a cleaning & security deposit. 

Please Note: A professional cleaning will be charged to the Tenant's deposit. Houskeepers charge by the hour, so because some families leave the home cleaner than others, this is the only fair way to charge accordingly.  Housekeeping charges are generally between $80.00 - $150.00. Any deposit balance will be refunded to you.  If you don't understand this, please ask!

Maximum occupancy of 8. Additional guests may be approved, subject to a $15.00 per person surcharge. Please ask.

No Smoking. Pets by Approval.

Cancellations occuring within 60 days of check-in will result in forfeiture of deposits, unless the dates are subsequently reserved by another party.
