Fabulous home away from home

We had a family re-union on Cudjoe Key. Our party consisted of Grammy, adults and 5 kids (10yo & teen girls). We had 2 properties rented. This rental was fabulous. The house is beautiful & well stocked, with towels and kitchen utencils and appliances. The kayaks were a blast and come with the house. We had 4 teens girls that loved the beach landing and dock for tanning and water sports. We also rented paddle boards for 4 days (Dinghy Docks on Cudjoe Key half price of the other rentals) which was awesome fun. Only about 20 minutes to key west. The pool was fabulous. We had no problem with anything and I highly recommend this rental. It was lobster season and we had great fun lobstering, and eating our 24 lobster. The unit was very clean. Previous renters have left many things, such as laundry soap, dish soap, spices etc., we brought most of this too but was nice in a pinch. Grilled out most days and prepared all meals there with no problem. The owner provided wonderful customer service. The only problem I would foresee (not a problem for us) is the stairs, the house is 3 stories, lots of stairs. For a very minimal fee we also brought our dog with us on vacation.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, romantic getaway

A Perfect Vacation Home

This was the best vaction home my family has ever rented. The location is perfect. It is close enough to Key West that you can drive for a day or two, but far enough away to have a calm, peaceful atmosphere.

The house was beautiful. Every detail to make your stay nicer was included. They even took the time to label the light switches! I've never been in a rental that was so thoughtful.

The kayaks were another bonus. Our family used them several times. The kids LOVED the time on the water. The house was also close to snorkeling. We were able to rent a boat and had a marvelous time.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Fandango for anyone wanting to get away in the Keys. To quote our 5 year old son.."It was our best vacation ever!"

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway
