Direct Beach Front 1 Bedroom Condo with Awesom Views. This is the one you've been looking for. Direrct Gulf/Beach views from the Living Room, Master Bedroom and even the Kitchen. You can also enjoy the views and the surf from the large 20' deck.
100% remodeled in 2011 and 2012. All new appliances, cabinets, new high end porcelin tiled floors that match from room to room, new shower, sinks, vanity, granite tops and toilet. 95% of the furniture is new. We even replaced the perfectly fine matress and invested in a new king Beauty Rest matress and foundation.
Our one bedroom condo is very spacious. The Living Room and Kitchen offers an open concept with vaulted ceilings adding to the openess. A very large 13'x15' Bedroom with King Bed also has a vauled ceiling with exposed wood beams.
"Owners editorial" When traveling to the ocean, my family always wanted to stay at a Beach Front unit. We always felt that if we're spending a lot of money to travel, why compromise and stay at a ocean view or garden view unit. Many advertise their units as Beach Front or Gulf Front. When investigating, you find that they are a garden view unit in a beach front complex or they have a partial beach view from one room or from the deck. Our condo is a true Beach Front/ Gulf Front unit in every way.
We bought this unit because it is like the condos that we'd typically look for when shopping for a vacation rental. It has breath-taking views from the bedroom, living room and the deck (A stones throw to the gulf). Being a family with a limited budget, we understand trying to get the best value. We have decided to offer our unit for rent at prices similar to garden view units. By offering our condo at competitive rates, we hope to have it booked solid (this will allow us to keep the rates down) We hope you will come and stay at our condo in South Padre Island. (Added 2012): I contunue to get phone calls or emails letting me know that renters were deceived when renting or looking for a "beach front" condo. If you are looking for a true beach front unit, whether renting ours or not, ask the owner if it a true beach front unit. I see many listings, Tiki units and others, that say beachfront but are not. I have looked at some of these listings and I too am deceived and finally figure it out because I know the location of the condos. At the Tiki, there are 144 total units. Only 12 are on the beach and some of those are not available for rent. So very few Tiki beachfront units are listed on the internet. I also see many, many other condo listings at other condo complexes that claim the same and are not beachfront. Be careful, ask the right questions. Hope this helps.

Kitchenq:
NEW Kitchen as of May 2011. New Raised Panel Maple Cabinets with glazed finish. New Granite Countertops. New Stainless Steel Refrigerator, Range, Dishwasher and Microwave/Range hood. Toaster, Coffee Maker and Blender also included. New porcelin tile floor.
All original Tiki Condos had the dreaded wall in the kitchen. They also had a row of cabinets that blocked the views from the kitchen. We removed both the wall and cabinets so the Kitchen is open to the Living Room and a great view of the Gulf even from the Kitchen.
Bedroom:
Large 13' x 15' Bedroom with King Bed, As of November 2011, all new furniture. Freshly painted, two new Dressers, two luggage racks, two new Night Stands, New decor throughout. Clock Radio, Large Flat Screen TV. New sliding glass doors to Large Deck. AWESOME GULF VIEWS FROM ANYWHERE IN THE BEDROOM.
Bathroom:
Remodeled in November of 2012. Room with new vanity, double sink and new granite countertop. Separate room with Toilet and Bath/Shower which was enlarged for more room. New tiled shower has granite top benh and granite recessed shelf. Door seperates sink area from toilet/shower room.
Deck:
Maybe my favorite place to be!!! New bar height swivel chairs with back in 2011. Bar height chairs chosen so the view to the gulf is not hampered by the deck railing. New vinyl wicker bar height table with shelves to enjoy your favorite beverage from.
Wireless Internet Service is available at no charge.

activities and attractions in South Padre Island Texas
All the Island activities and attractions are a walk, drive or shuttle away. The Island shuttle stops in front of the complex and can take you anywhere on the island for free.
This condo complex is located towards the north end of all the island development. There is a vacant lot directly north of our condo complex, a new beach restaurant/bar north of that, then the LaQuinta and Hilton. The state park is north of that. Our condo is located in the North East corner adding to the privacy.

TYPICALLY, WEEKLY RENTALS ONLY. 6 day rentals are the same price as weekly. 5 day rentals are almost the same cost as the weekly (esp. when I run the weekly specials). Daily rentals (3 day minimum) ONLY accepted if a week is open within 2 weeks of the open date. PLEASE do not email for a 3 or 4 day rental 2-3 months in advance.
Small behaved pets are welcome for additional fees and deposit.
