Thanks for looking at our town-home! Vacations are an investment in relationships and family, as well as in fun. We realize guests save up to make the trip. Our philosophy of renting is to make our vacation home special for guests by paying attention to design details and comforts. As home and building design professionals, we strive to offer a retreat that is both warm and stylish, and will help make vacation memories inside as wonderful as those you experience out on the mountain. Our town-home is most comfy for 2-6 guests, however 2 Queen sleeper sofas were purchased for the livingroom so that 8 adults or 6 adults + 4 children can home share on short trips. The dining,  living room and patio all  seat up to 8 comfortably. Our rates are tiered in order to offer smaller groups a fair savings off of maximum occupancy rates.

Nestled by the stunning Hermosa Cliffs &  Aspen Forest, across from the Weminuche wilderness, you can park 2 cars right outside our door for easy loading of family and gear. Drive 2 minutes/ 1 mile to the Purgatory ski slopes for summer hiking and biking; or awesome skiing, snow mobiling, snow boarding, ski biking, Alpine Slide, and more. It is a short a 10 minute drive to Rockwood train station, 30 minutes easy & scenic drive to Historic Durango on well maintained roads, 40 min drive to Victorian Mining Town of Silverton, and 1.5 hrs to Swiss influenced Ouray. Our town-home has lots of upgrades, come and enjoy.......

In Summer, Fall or Winter, a South West Colorado Vacation is incredible in Durango! Summer & Fall seasons offer Hiking, Fly Fishing, Mountain Biking, Horse back riding, River-rafting, train Rides & Picnics on the Lakes and creeks. Music in the Mountains & the La Plata County Fair take place during summer; Art Walk, Durango Cowboy Fest and Golden Aspens cover the Mountains in fall.

Winter on the mountain brings skiing, snow boarding, snow mobiling, ski biking & Polar Bear train rides. Enjoy Shopping and Culture in Downtown Durango year-round, a scenic 30 minute straight-shot down the mountain on well maintained roads.  You can also ride the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad 10 minutes from our town home door at Rockwood Train Station (train is on opposite side of highway south by Tamarron, our town-home location is very peaceful!).

Multiple hiking & biking trails and beautiful lakes (Molas Lake, Spud Lake, Hermosa Creek, Electra Lake and more are all easy drives), Fort Lewis College Performing Arts Center, Durango Discovery center, river rafting, fly fishing (Durangler's offers great lessons), horseback riding, carriage rides, art classes, cooking & nature classes at the Durango Mountain Institute, kids mountain summer PACK camp, skiing, snow bikes, snowmobiling, and much more are easily accessible from our gorgeous location at Silverpick, 1 mile/ 2 minutes South of Durango Mountain Resort, 10 min South of Cascade Village and 15 minutes North of Tamarron.

Silverpick is so close to the slopes, yet offers peacefulness and spaciousness in a stunning location. Enjoy the savings over an equal quality "A" level slope-side home, the extra spacious feeling of 18' vaulted ceilings upstairs and 9' ceilings downstairs, and a very special decor..........all while having easy access to Durango vacation fun year-round. We also have a slope-side Durango vacation rental condo available at Durango Mountain resort if you need more space for friends or family.

We happily offer a fair savings to smaller groups, and thus are sticklers on # of guests.Guest = Age 2+ for our savings rates.

We purchased an an extra sleeper sofa, so home can sleep a maximum of 6 adults + 4 children, or 8 adults for short trips. For maximum occupancy;  6 Guests are in beds, 4 guests on 2  quality queen sleeper sofas. Though spacious feeling due to Sf and Vaulted upstairs ceilings; home is most comfy fit for 2-6 Guests.
