In 2009 George and I visited friends in Glendale and fell absolutely in love with the area. We searched and found the perfect vacation home. It features a master suite and three guest bedrooms, formal dining room, library/ study, large day room and a back yard with swimming pool.

What I, Sam, like the most is our outdoor living room, our bedroom suite and the kitchen. I am a gourmet cook and cook book author. We added an island which provides a fantastic triangular work space. I still can be part of outdoors or watch TV while I cook.

Our location is a sport fan's haven. Glendale is home to Arizona Cardinals NFL team with the stadium located only minutes from the house. It is also the home of the BCS Fiesta Bowl played each January. We are also home to Phoenix Coyotes NHL team and within a half an hour you can reach games of the MLB Arizona Diamondbacks, NBA Phoenix Suns or WNBA Phoenix Mercury team. One can not overlook the Cactus League baseball teams spring training games played in neighboring Peoria, Surprise, and Maryvale, all within a short drive from the house. The golfers can enjoy the PGA Phoenix Open in January and great courses like The Legends at Arrowhead, TPC Scottsdale, the Wigwam Resort and The Pointe Tapation just to mention a few.

Our home is fully supplied, so pack light. Feel free to use the bikes you find in the garage. Please inspect them prior to use and use the appropriate safety equipment. There are miles of bike trails starting just a couple of blocks from the house.
