Private Lake Ogemaw Home in West Branch

This is the perfect lake front get-away.  Four large door walls provide incredible views of private Lake Ogemaw and the beautiful oak trees provide a wonderful canopy over the 38 foot deck off the main level where you can enjoy dining, cool beverages or a good book.

The average depth of this all-sports 660 acre lake is roughly 20 feet, which allows the water temperatures to rise rapidly during the summer months; to 80 degrees by mid-July.  You can enjoy swimming, fishing, paddle boating (supplied), canoeing, kayaking, sailing, skiing, wakeboarding, wave runners,… you name it.  The Riffle River is less than one mile away as an added bonus for canoeing, kayaking, tubing or fishing. 

The boat launch is private; accessible to you by key.  A beautiful 20 foot Playbouy Pontoon boat equipped with a 50 hp Yamaha outboard engine is available for an additional rental fee.  

Rental periods are completely flexible.  Sorry, no PETS or SMOKING allowed.  

This centrally air-conditioned home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths with walkout upper and lower levels.  It sits just 45 feet away from 90 feet of shoreline on private Lake Ogemaw.  Enjoy grilling (gas grill included), eating and relaxing on the 38 foot deck and roast marsh mellows by the fire while lounging in comfortable Adirondack chairs.  Or, hang the hammock between the oak trees and swing yourself to sleep in the shade.  

On the main level, there is a dining room next to the kitchen, connected to the living room.  The kitchen is fully appointed with standard oven, freezer/refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster and plenty of cooking utensils.  The master bedroom with queen size log-post bed and guest bedroom with double bed are on the main floor. 

The family room, second bath, bunk-bed room (sleeps 4) and laundry are on the lower level.  There is a pull-out couch for extra sleeping capacity in the family room.  Two large door walls on the lower level open to the lower level patio and lake.  There is a pull-out couch in the family room.  Enjoy dinning, cards or a board game on the game table in the family room.  There is one TV with cable and an internet connection in the laundry room office.

• Troll Landing – On west side of Riffle River Road about ¼ mile north of Lake Ogemaw Marina - Canoe, kayak and tube rentals. Drop-off service; 1.5 to 3 hour trips available. 
• Ogemaw County Fair Grounds – 2300 Rifle River Trail, West Branch; ½ mile north of Ogemaw Marina.

• Lumberman’s Monument and Highbanks Trail System – Iosco County – take Riffle River Road north to M55 east Tawas Rd. 12.9 miles to M65 north 18 miles, turn right at Largo Rd / River Rd 3.7 miles to Monument Rd, Oscoda, MI 48750.

Security/damage deposit of $275 due to hold reservation and refundable one week after departure if no damage.   

Cleaning/Laundry fee: $200 due with rental payment. 

Pontoon rental: $200 per day: if renting for one week, must rent for the entire week. 

Full Rental & Cleaning/Laundry Fee due 7 days prior to arrival.
