Capistrano Beach is the quintessential beach town, perfect for families or couples looking to get away. The house is on a quiet, tree-lined street within walking distance of picturesque ocean view parks, amazing restaurants and the famous Southern California beach.

This vacation rental is one of the many historical homes in the nautical community of Capistrano Beach, and the town greets visitors with old-fashioned hospitality and modern convenience.  Walk into the recently renovated living room after a long day of fun in the sun and relax with your family in the privacy of a cozy home. Snuggle up on the comfortable sectional sofa to read a book from our well-stocked library, watch a movie on the flat screen TV and DVD player or play one of the many board games with your family. We also have three bean bag chairs - great for larger gatherings or casual lounging.

The house is equipped with everything you need for a fun-filled gathering at the beach including beach chairs, beach towels, a large cooler, a custom surfboard, boogie boards, sand toys, even a pop-up shade shelter.

We are located just minutes away from excellent restaurants and every type of cuisine, but you can also save a little money or give yourself a more relaxed, intimate evening and cook in the charming, completely stocked and well-equipped kitchen.

The french doors from the family room open to a quiet, picturesque half-an-acre backyard. A large covered patio with lovely outdoor dining area just begs for a special outdoor meal. Relax by the koi pond, shaded by several 50-year-old California Redwood trees.  If you want an easy outdoor venue for weddings, family reunions or any other special event, walk over to Pines Park. It’s only a five-minute walk, and is known for its large grassy knolls and 180-degree views of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island.

You can’t go wrong with this home’s location. We are close to all of Southern California’s entertainment amenities and so easy to find. We’re located just 60 minutes south from Los Angeles Airport (LAX), 60 minutes north of San Diego Airport (SAN), and 30 minutes south of John Wayne Airport in Orange County (SNA).  It takes less than an hour to drive to Seaworld, Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, Legoland, San Diego Safari Park and the world-famous San Diego Zoo.  Plus, drive about 15 minutes to Laguna Beach and Pageant of the Masters, or spend a day checking out some of the incredible art galleries and museums. Also, downtown Los Angeles and San Diego, with their exciting restaurants, culture and nightlife are all within an hour’s drive of the home. Of course, you’ll want to see all of South Orange County first - which simply bursts with art, culture, fun outdoor activities, great restaurants and the kinds of experiences which you and your family will remember for a lifetime. If you want to add an incredible experience to your stay, consider a day-trip to Catalina Island from Dana Point marina. An hour boat ride, which leaves from a harbor just minutes from the house, takes you to your own island paradise for a uniquely Southern Californian experience.

Southern California is an outstanding location for any vacation.
