Time away from winter

We spent a very comfortable month in the mobile. Nice livingroom area. Great to have free long distance to Canada and throughout the States. Free wireless and lots of TV stations to choose from. Kitchen items could be added to in terms of pans and cooking utensils (left a list of suggestions). Any help we needed was taken care of quickly by the property manager. Enjoyed the nearby golf and swimming pools.

Recommended for: age 55+, sight seeing

Thousand Palms rental

We recently enjoyed three wonderful months in this home, December 2012 - February 2013. Yes, the house is older, but the owners have upgraded and the furniture is new and very comfortable. The pictures really do not do the home justice, it was better than we expected! Pete and Karen's representative, Harry, lives near-by, and if we had any problems, he was quick to the rescue. (The coffee pot "died" and I needed my coffee...new pot within hours!!) We would definitely reserve again, but next winter we need two bathrooms due to a third person. We have already recommended this home to other family members and would highly recommend it to anyone else. Thanks, Pete and Karen, for a wonderful winter holiday.

Mia Casa Vacation Retreat

We Spent the month of February at Peter & Karen's Mia Casa vacation home in Thousand Palms, and although it was older, it was clean and had all the amenities needed for our stay. Any small problems were dealt with promptly. and we found them, as well as their agent Jackie Billingsley, excellent to deal with. The central location was great for getting to the different areas in the Choachella region.
Thanks again, Peter & Karen....and Jackie, for making our stay so relaxing.
