This house is an excellent rental. Very clean and in order with a great location in walking distance to all the restaurants, bars, clubs and shops. Park you car and enjoy downtown Newport. It's a short 5 minute ride to the beach. Plenty of room with lots of places to sleep even more than 7 if needed. Loved the backyard patio . . .a great place to enjoy lunch and hang out. Would definitely rent this house again.

Bachelorette Weekend

We rented this property for a girls weekend in Newport for my friend's bachelorette. The house was clean and well-kept. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably.

The house is just steps to Thames Street with a lot of small, interesting shops. It's less than a 10 minute walk to the more central area near Bowens Wharf.

It was private and the street was quiet, which was nice for a night in or to relax before heading out. We were there off season, so parking on the street was readily available.

I highly recommend for a girl's weekend, or a weekend away with friends.

Also, the owner was very easy to work with and responded quickly to my emails.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car

Location, comfort, and convenience

We had a wonderful vacation in Newport. This house is centrally located in the Thames Street area. We walked to restaurants and shopping, and it was a quick drive to the beaches. The house is comfortable and clean, and it has many updates, an open floor plan, and all the amenities you need. The back patio is private and perfect for catching some sun and relaxing after a day at the beach. We will be heading back this summer!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
