Little House in Wenona in Deal Island

Cute, cozy, and cheery...this little ranch house on a quiet street in the quaint fishing village of Wenona, a small community on the southern tip of Deal Island where crabbing and oystering are a way of life is a perfect and peaceful vacation retreat.  Eventhough water view is from just one window in the house, this does mean that you are really close to water...just minutes from a public boat ramp!  This little house lives large and pleasant with its newly modeled kitchen offering plenty of counter space, lots of big windows and bright light, and fresh paint throughout.   We have so enjoyed this home and hope you will too with your next visit to Deal Island. 

Smoke-free environment, linens provided, washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave (over the range), toaster, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron, bath/shower, TV (local channels only), DVD player, internet connection, piano, deck, charcoal grill, plenty of yard/parking (boats, etc.).  If you have a little one, there is a PacknPlay, stroller, and high chair.     

Deal Island is a quiet, friendly fishing community in the heart of "crabbing country"; do not be surprised that your neighbors will be professional watermen some of which offer chartered fishing tours that leave from Deal Island making fishing and boating perhaps the most popular draws to the area.  There is a small public beach area (on right as soon as you cross the bridge onto D.I.) that is great for swimming, surf fishing, and finding beach glass and shells.  There are multiple areas of public lands in wildlife management areas on or near D.I. which is great for hikers, birders, kayakers, as well as hunters.  Since the island is so flat and home to some very courteous drivers, biking is also very enjoyable on D.I.  The annual Skipjack Races are held every Labor Day weekend. 

Memorial Day to Labor Day:  $95/night with < 4 night stay; $70/night if 4+ night stay

Remainder of year:              $70/night with < 4 night stay; $50/night if 4+ night stay  

Deposit to hold reservation required. (paid within 7 days of booking).

Non refundable deposit if not confirmed before arrival date.

Confirmations, cancellations or changes must be received 10 days prior of reserved arrival date to assure reservations

Security Deposit  required upon arrival (25% or a minimum of $75).    Security Deposit returned within 7 days of check out date, contingent on approved inspection.
