Extraordinary views here at "Silverstone Cabin"!  This charming log cabin is located just minutes from the town of Boone just off Hwy 321N/421N, and is convenient to Blowing Rock, The Blue Ridge Parkway, 4 major ski resorts and many local attractions!

Our cabin is situated on 21 acres where you can truly enjoy the privacy and exceptional views of the mountains and the tranquil sounds of the creek nearby from the oversized deck. A naturists friendly paradise.

Views can be enjoyed from most all of  the rooms in the home. You will appreciate the ever-changing mountain scenery  with layers and layers of mountains & long-range views of Grandfather Mt., Sugar Mt. ski resort and Beech Mt.

The cabin is warm & inviting with lots of windows to enjoy the views!The (main) floor consist of the kitchen, living & dining area one bedroom and bathroom. The top floor offers, a bedroom w/private balcony, bathroom and large loft bedroom.  

The main floor den opens to the x-tra large deck where you can enjoy the hottub (seats 4 people) or relax the day away in our locally hand-crafted rockers.

 "Silverstone Cabin" is a very special place and we would love for you to be part of our family!

We arrived at the cabin for a much-needed vacation after our son's wedding the day before. The house, the views, the privacy, just everything was perfect for us. The house has been decorated with carefully selected furniture and knick knacks and my favorite, blue and white porcelain. We felt extremely at-home during our stay. The very short trip into the Town of Boone and surrounding areas was always very scenic and peaceful, and the only time the streets were congested with traffic was on Saturday afternoon in downtown Boone. The weather was a bit chilly, and most of the locals we talked to said that it was unseasonably cool, , but that only made the hot tub more enjoyable at the end of the day, and it was still a very satisfying trip. We would go back to this same house in a heartbeat. We can't wait for the owners to finish remodeling the bottom floor so we can stay there again! The owners were always available while we were there, and if I needed to contact them, they would immediately answer the phone or answer my text messages. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to prepare meals; all the pots and pans and utensils are there. Very nice glassware and dishes, also. The planning of this trip, the payment schedule we had, and thee trip itself couldn't have gone smoother. Thanks Sharon and Larry!

Easter weekend

Yes, we came back with family for the Easter Weekend. The grands LOVE hunting for eggs. All the items we needed to cook a Easter Diner was available. After the grands went to bed, my wife and I spend the evening around the fire pit with our children talking about our past Easter Weekends and how this was if the best one of the top. My wife and I again had the bedroom on the top floor with the private deck, where we enjoyed the quiet nights with a glass of wine in a romantic time, thanks the Lord for the blessing of our children and being in a such a beautiful place.. Thank you for allowing us to build a memory. Hopefully we will be able to come back again.

Clean and quiet with a beaufitul view.

My wife and another couple spend a wonder weekend here.... The view was spectacular! We hike up the mountain along the mountain spring that fills a small pool size pond on the property. We enjoyed quiet evenings on the deck in the hot tub and around the fire pit. The inside was very rustic, as you would expect in a mountain house. Wife enjoyed way the house was decorated, from the leather saddle on the log stairway to the wooden indian. The large windows allowed us to enjoyed the view even from the inside. The owners provided all the kitchen items we needed to cook all our meals. In the mornings we all enjoyed a cup of coffee on the deck.... Our room was on the top floor which has a private deck... Wonderful evenings sitting out there having a night cap before bed. We plan to go back with family Easter weekend....
