Large, comfortable bedroom with queen-size bed and sitting area. Private bathroom across the hall. Private entrance. 15 minute walk to amenities such as stores, restaurants and ferry. 15 minute walk to back shore. 5 minute walk to the beach. Ours is one of the only Peaks Island properties that rents by the night. Others rent by the week. We are a 10-15 minute walk to TEIA, the back shore, the ferry, the Inn. The Fifth Maine is a 25 minute walk. There is an island taxi and bike rentals, too.

Rent a bike (or borrow one from us), rent a kayak, go sailing or deep sea fishing, sit on the rocks on the back shore and read, check out the Fifth Maine Museum, the Umbrella Cover Museum, the Gem Art Gallery, the Coffee Shop plus 3 more restaurants. Take a 20 minute ferry ride to Portland for great shopping, site-seeing and fabulous restaurants, all within walking distance from the ferry landing.
