Les Cheneaux Landing is a family oriented resort located on the northern shore of Lake Huron in the eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The resort rests on 250 feet of waterfront property on the Les Cheneaux (Snows) Channel; protected from Lake Huron by Marquette Island, the largest of the 36 islands in the Les Cheneaux chain. The resort is in a great location, centered between Cedarville and Hessel, offering good fishing and boating in either direction.

This cabin is available for spring, summer and fall rental and is perfect for individuals, families, family reunions and small or large fishing groups. The spacious, well-kept, grounds offer children and adults lots of space and activities including a small basketball court, a sand beach volleyball court, a swing set, a horseshoe pit, a sandy swimming beach area and docks for relaxing and soaking in the sun. Charcoal grills and picnic tables are also provided.

The family can also enjoy day trips to Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon Falls, the Soo Locks and Drummond Island which are all in close proximity to Cedarville.

The protected channels and bays and pristine shorelines offer unparalleled scenery and opportunities for boating and fishing enthusiasts. Les Cheneaux Landing offers a launch ramp and dock rental for vacationers who want to bring their own boat, as well as boat/motor rentals for fishing or a relaxing boat ride. Certain fishing baits can also be purchased on-site.

Sportsmen and outdoor enthusiasts find a variety of activities in the area. Ice break up in the spring is accompanied by smelt dipping and perch fishing. Northern pike are readily caught in the shallows and smallmouth bass fishing is excellent. The annual Mayfly hatch attracts schools of herring in late June/early July and splake are also taken in good numbers. Brook trout are found in local creeks and streams and the Carp River is famous for steelhead. Salmon find their way into the Les Cheneaux channels by early September; many nice fish are taken not far from LCL. Fishing or island tour charters are available in the area.

The many bays are a natural sanctuary for geese and ducks in the fall. You could fish and hunt at the same time! Large tracts of state and federal land hold plenty of grouse and woodcock, plus the fall colors are spectacular.

The area is great for deer hunting. Bow hunters find plenty of room and light hunting pressure. The firearm deer season in the Cedarville/Hessel area is a tradition enjoyed by many.
