Marshmallow Heaven has a sister property - S'mores Galore. Each has a charming Key West look. The Marshmallow walks out onto a large front deck and has a Romeo and Juliet balcony in the back off the great room. There is a queen sleep sofa in the living room to provide sleeping for two more guests.
Wi-Fi. Cable TV. Mosquito spray program continues throughout season. Good laundry area. Plenty of parking for extra vehicles. Campfire pit in front and firewood. Walk 1/3 mile on leafy road to association's own beach with swimming raft and boat launch. A wonderful, clean, manicured, large park is just around the bend.

Interlochen Arts Academy is a pleasant fifteen minute country drive. The Marshmallow is close to Traverse City and all the excitement and action of that vibrant "ool city."
Long Lake Peninsula is home to families who pass their cottages down through the generations, so it is charming - no cookie cutter condos here.

There is a private association beach with 100 feet of sandy frontage and a raft just 1/3 mile down the roadbut walking is required, as there is no parking lot there. Just around the bend is a huge park and picnic shelter, etc. The association is energetic about clean up duty so it always looks tidy. Biking is nice on the peninsula. Boone's Long Lake Inn is just around the bend, with huge steaks and generous portions of everything - a local destination! Moomers Ice Cream, voted #1 nationwide by the staff of Good Morning America, is nearby - watch the cows graze as you enjoy their wonderful ice cream product. Wineries abound in the region. There is so very much to do in this healty, environmentally aware area.
