Parksley Place Cottage is located in the Missouri Ozark Mountains, nestled on a magnificent bluff overlooking Bull Shoals Lake.  Wonderful views of the lake just a 10 minute drive from the exciting entertainment attractions of Branson, Missouri!   Our little spot of paradise is only 1 minute from K-Dock Marina on Bull Shoals Lake as well!  Parksley Place Cottage allows you to enjoy the quiet, serenity of the woods, but still be close to great fishing, boating, shopping, restaurants and entertainment! Where else can you watch the deer and bald eagles in the morning and go to top name entertainment in the evening? Fish and boat on Missouri’s “Best Kept Secret—Bull Shoals Lake” where you can rent a boat or launch your own, minutes from your cottage, and enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of this pristine lake. It is truly a unique experience!

Bull Shoals Lake offers a wide variety of recreational activities including hiking, sightseeing, hunting, scuba diving, fishing, and water sports such as swimming, boating, water skiing and tubing.  Bull Shoals Lake has approximately 750 miles of shoreline and 45,440 acres of surface area. Over 20 parks developed through the cooperative efforts of local, state and federal agencies are located on the lakeshore.  From Parksley Place Cottage you are less than one minute to one of the largest marinas on the lake. K-Dock Marina has rental boats, a snack bar, live bait and a fully stocked store.

In designing Parksley Place Cottage, we showcase the best features from our favorite vacation cottages. The master suite is comfortably appointed with a queen-sized bed, reading lamps and a private bath with walk-in shower, whirlpool soaking tub and double sinks. The second bedroom features a queen size bed, reading light and comfortable chair. The third bedroom has twin beds and a comfortable reading nook. All bedrooms have top quality mattresses and high thread count bedding. The living room has comfortable, cottage style furniture, a 42” flat screen television with satellite reception, and there is free Wi-Fi. The kitchen is fully equipped including a microwave, blender, mixer, dishes, pots and pans and all the utensils for those easy meals that save you money! The deck is where folks spend time enjoying the wildlife and country views. It includes an outdoor eating area and a gas grill.

Nature & Fishing:  Bull Shoals Lake is tucked in the Ozark Mountains and surrounded by interesting rock formations. Bald eagles, wild turkeys, ducks, geese and an array of songbirds add to your natural enjoyment. Deer, raccoons, bobcats, and other wildlife are often spotted along the shoreline. Many varieties of trees, wild flowers, berries, shrubs and vines thrive in this area of the country. Truly, a naturalist’s dream, come true! Bull Shoals Lake is home to many varieties of fish including black and white crappie, catfish, large and small mouth bass, and trout. If you are a real avid trout fisherman, Lake Taneycomo is 10 minutes away and is well known for large and many trout. Bull Shoals Lake fishermen have pulled pan fish and walleye from the lake that hold state records in both Missouri and Arkansas. Because the lake doesn’t freeze, it offers year round fishing. This area is truly an angler’s paradise.

Water Sports and Adventure:  Water sports enthusiasts love Bull Shoals Lake. The lake’s clear blue water is perfect for wave runners, sailing, large and small boats, kayaking and canoeing. The tranquil water is great for water skiing and wake boarding. There are never more than a handful of boats in any one spot, at any one time, so it is truly a great place to learn water sports or practice your favorite tricks. Rental boats are available at K-Dock Marina or launch your own and rent a slip. If your idea of adventure is go carting, paintballing, bungee jumping or slingshotting, we have you covered! The Hwy 76 strip in Branson offers bumper boats, gyroscopes, miniature golf, and any other form of entertainment you might imagine! If hiking is a favorite pastime, there are miles of great hiking trails in the area. There are caves to explore for the spelunkers!

Relaxation:  If you just want to kick back and relax, this vacation may be one of ultimate relaxation. Parksley Place Cottage, a quaint, country cottage, on a wooded bluff above Bull Shoals Lake, is peaceful and quiet. After the hustle and bustle of Branson, you can come home to tranquility. • Between 59 days and 21 days you forfeit first installment, within 3 weeks you forfeit full amount unless we are able to rebook the full stay and amount and consider further refunds.
