Paradise By The Sea in Galveston

This is the owner's private and personal condominium, originally purchased for our family's getaway.  Due to our family and travel schedules, we've decided to open it up to guests and visitors and hope you will find it as inviting as we have when we aren't personally able to be here ourselves.

The condo sleeps 4 - with a brand new comfortable queen sized bed in the bedroom, and a daybed with trundle in the living room.  We are willing to allow a 4th person on an air mattress or sleeping bag (not in the condo) for an additional $25.00/night - and we appreciate your honesty when booking with us to let us know the # of guests who will be staying.

The condominium building itself offers fast elevators, a gleaming pool, a lovely lobby, coffee area downstairs, tennis court (we have a couple of rackets in the closet if you want to play - but someone took the tennis balls - so you'll need to make a quick trip to Academy or WalMart unless you have your own), coin operated laundry, and perhaps the friendliest staff on the island.  Front door trash pick up is even included!  Parking is free - just keep in mind that the back gate gets locked at night for security reasons - so if you are going out between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am you should park in the front of the building.

Fully furnished kitchen, two cable TV's with options for both DVD and VCR (yes - we are over 40!), a bathroom with fluffy towels that won't scratch when you've spent too much time in the sun.  Remember - this is OUR home away from home! 

We are DOG friendly.  Owners have allergies to cats and smoking.  You may smoke outside on the balcony - but smoking inside or having a cat will result in the loss of the entire security deposit as a result of the additional cleaning that will be needed.

We are close to everything!  From beaches to historic homes to the strand to the Bolivar ferry - nothing is far away.  An hour from Houston makes it the ideal location for your family's "staycation"!  You should know that there is not a sand beach across Seawall Boulevard from this complex, you will need to drive either east or west (depending on how public/private of a setting you are interested in - whether you need lifeguards and public restrooms and concessions nearby - its all a matter of preference!)

We offer No Surprise Pricing!  All of the City of Galveston & State of Texas Occupancy taxes are included, as is the cleaning fee - what you see in our pricing structure is what you get!  We don't like being told our rate is $125/night and at check-in learn that "after all the fees, etc. its closer to $200 - so we won't do that to our guests!

We have a 2 night minimum, 3 during holidays and Galveston special events, and 20% will be added for those occasions as well to the published rates.
