Shipwreck Island Water Theme Park is merely ¼ mile from our home.  Publix, Super WalMart, Rocket Lanes (for bowling/billiards/arcades/roller-skating), Miniature Golf, Movie Gallery, shops and a wide variety of restaurants are located within 2 miles.  Other activities located nearby include St. Andrews State Park, glass-bottom boat tours, pirate cruises, golfing, tennis, jet skiing, scuba diving, parasailing, and helicopter rides.  The famous Ripley’s Believe It or Not and Wonder Works is also just 2 miles from us.  If you love to shop, you cannot miss out on the Pier Park Mall.  It is located off of Hwy 98 (or Back Beach Road) approximately 7 minutes from our home.   Pier Park also includes a 16 movie theatre, awesome restaurants, and lots of other fun activities for the kids.  Local restaurants that you must try include Capt. Anderson’s, Schooner’s, Pineapple Willies, BoneFish Grille, Sharky’s and Salt Water Grille.
