Elk Meadows in Buffalo

We built this beautiful 1500 sq. ft. cabin for our own personal getaway. We like high places so the cabin is on the side of a mountain at 8000 ft. elevation with a panaramic view of the Big Horn Mts, the highest being Cloud Peak at 12,223 ft. The sun rises behind the cabin which provides an amazing light show on the peaks in front of the cabin and sets over the Hazelton Peaks at the left front of the cabin's 16x20 deck for a truly one of a kind sunset. The show is not over yet because at this elevation with no other lights around the stars are so crystal clear and brilliant. The view from the porch or the big picture window in the living room is a never ending enjoyment day or night.

The Cabin has a king size bed in the master bedroom,double bed in other private bedroom and 3 double beds and one twin bunk in the loft. The Kitchen is fully equipped to do any kind of cooking that suits you and there is a large oak table with 8 chairs .The livingroom is equipped with a beautiful red Vermont Casting wood stove, a leather couch with 2 recliners, leather love seat w/2 recliners, and a large leather recliner. There is also a 32" LCD flat screen TV with dvd player so you can watch your favorite movies. The walls and ceilings are all Aspen finished and there are hard wood floors throught out.

The cabin is perfect place for early risers to sit on the deck, enjoy your morning cup of coffee and watch nature unfold as the sun rises. You never know what you might see before you.

This is an ideal location for snowmobilers, fourwheelers, hikers, and other outdoor enthusiasts as it borders the National Forest on the front and BLM on the back. Your fun is only limited by you.
