Faya Lobi A Perfect Getaway for Couples, Families or Groups in Manzanillo

Welcome to the heart of Manzanillo, located at the southern tip of the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. We have a two-story provate house for rent complete with five bedrooms available for a total of 8-10 people, a baby cot, each with a bathroom with a nice hot water shower and a ground floor with a seating/relax area.
Although the house is built to accommodate 10 people , even for couples, smaller groups or family's it's ideal because of it's cozy bedrooms and the seperate comfortable livingroom.
The house is only 200 meters from the white sandy beach, surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Faya Lobi itself has two floors and is about 200 meters from the beautiful, long sandy beaches of Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge in the small village of Manzanillo on Costa Rica’s Caribbean Coast. A perfect spot for a beach and jungle vacation near Puerto Viejo. The beach in Manzanillo is fantastic! You can walk kilometers in both directions.
Once in the Wildlife Refuge there are many trees where you can find sloths, howler monkeys and toucans, just to name a few because there are obviously many more species.

There are two terraces (above and below) where you can lie in the hammock or sit in one of the seats to enjoy the peace and tranquility.

The bedrooms are surrounded by a beautiful landscape and the building has an open structure which one can enjoy the outdoors. Each bedroom has a bathroom with toilet, sink, a nice hot water shower (not electric!), spacious, handmade mosquito net and fan. The four bedrooms on the top floor is good for 8 sleeps.
In the bedroom on the ground floor may also sleep two.

Bed linen and towels are provided.

There is a fully equipped kitchen (toast oven, fridge / freezer, coffee maker, kettle, rice cooker, iron grill, gas cooker, juicer, pots, plates, cutlery, cups and glasses) is located between the bedrooms to prepare your breakfast, lunch or dinner while simultaneously enjoying the view of our garden which is very likely that there may be a hummingbird flies by or a howler is hanging in one of the trees in the backyard.

There is also the possibility to watch television via satellite or using your laptop via our wifi system.

There is a selection of small supermarkets just minutes walk to do your shopping. There are several restaurant (s) and sodas to find around the corner when you do not want to cook.

On the ground floor is a terras with chairs and a hammock looking out over the garden with tropical flowers, plants and trees. There are several books you can read at your leisure or you can even make an exchange for one of your books.

Parking is available on site for several cars / RV / boat / trailer.

Internet and / or wifi are present within walking distance in the nearby pizzeria, an ice cream shop or Maxi’s restaurant.
But we offer free wifi for 4 laptops at the house.

If you have any problems or questions during your visit, we are just steps away from you as we stay at the rear of the house where we have our private entrance to our home so your privacy will be maintained.

Prices for Faya Lobi:

1-2 people: $59 per night (minimum 2 nights).
3-5 people: $ 99 per night (minimum 2 nights).
6-8 people: $ 129 per night (minimum 2 nights).
9-10 people $ 149 per night (minimum 2 nights).

1-2 people: $354 per week (one night for free).
2-5 people: $ 594 per week (one night for free).
6-8 people: $ 774 per week (one night for free).
9-10 people: $ 894 per week (one night for free).

1-10 people for longer than 1 month prices on request.

These prices include tax. Prices during the holidays such as Easter, Christmas, etc. vary. The prices can be requested via email.

We ask a deposit of 40% of the total amount and may be paid through Paypal, our Costa Rican or Dutch bank account. Upon arrival, we would like to receive the remainder of the cash amount. We do not accept credit cards or travelers checks. The nearest banks with ATM are located in Puerto Viejo, 13 km from Manzanillo.

30 days or more before the reserved date: refund of deposit minus 40% administration and banking costs.
15 to 30 days before the reserved date: refund of your deposit minus 60% administration and banking costs.
14 days or less before the reserved date: No refund.
