Feeling Right At Home

What a wonderful vacation. From the moment we walked thru the door we felt like we were home. The house was very clean, comfy and cozy nestled in a relaxed, quiet setting where the neighbors were friendly. Like to walk? We were only minutes away from the beautiful St. Pete beaches. By car, just minutes away from Pass A Grille. (Where we enjoyed watching the sunset on the deck at the Hurricane Restaurant while having their scrumptious Lobster Bisque). On lazy nights we stayed home, grilled or ordered in. (Barracuda Deli had a great menu and they delivered, when we were feeling like pizza, it was Gigi's - they also delivered). Our six weeks went by way too fast but we're already looking forward to returning to this great home away from home next year. Thank you Kate, we loved our time at Palm Point.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet-friendly

Great property and nice manager

My family had a great time during our stay. The house is nice and clean, perfect for 6 people (3 couples). The house manager, Kate, is easy to work with. Actually, it is the main reason that I picked this property for our vacation. The house is also close to the beach. My parents enjoyed the beach a lot. We can see water through the backyard, but the property is not directly on the water. It is still nice enough because well, I guess we can not expect too much with this price. The only con is that there is an on-going bridge construction near the property. Once or twice every week the bridge would be closed, and there would be only one way to get out of the town. The traffic would be very busy.

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Owners response: Construction was complete in April 2013!! We are very happy about it too. You can see the gulf now as you drive over to the island!

We had a great week at the beach! The dog had a blast and slept for almost 3 days straight when we returned home.

Kate was easy to work with, the property was even nicer than we expected.

we were able to walk to Agave which is our favorite restaurant here and spent plenty of time at the beach.

We definitely recommend this rental to any group.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
