Situated on 6 beautifully wooded yet sunny parcels on a hill above the Russian River, Stone's Throw Cottage is the best of both worlds - complete privacy and utter seclusion, but only a "stone's throw" from the beautiful Russian River. The Cottage can sleep 12 (with kids) - there are two bedrooms with queen size beds, a sun porch with a daybed that converts to a king size bed, and a separate unit downstairs bedroom with a king size bed in the second master bedroom, and daybed with trundle in the smaller bedroom. In addition to such amenities as the 7 person hot tub, gas grill, fully equipped kitchen, luxury linens, and high speed wireless internet, the Cottage also comes with a 4 person canoe for your use. Children and well-behaved pets are welcome - the Cottage is fully equipped for babies and toddlers (i.e., pack 'n play, high chair, stroller, baby backpack, toys) so you don't have to lug extra equipment on your vacation!
Please note this home is located on a hill accessed either up a steep driveway or many steps, and therefore may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

You can relax there, or in the 7 person hot tub nestled among the
ferns on the other side of the house. Enjoy the serenity of the
Cottage or take the less than 10 minute walk to one of the loveliest
beaches on the River in Monte Rio. Or drive 10 minutes to the
beautiful California coast, or to Armstrong Woods to hike
among the towering redwoods. And of course, there are wineries
throughout the region for a special treat.

High Season (May - Sept): $295/night, $1750/week

one week minimum stay late June through beginning of September (except holidays*; call for specific holiday rates & min stay)

Low Season (Oct - Apr): $250/night, $1500/week
