My Lady Marge in Alexandria Bay

Post and Beam home overlooking the St. Lawrence River with 850' of river frontage.Front of house is located on the St. Lawrence River.  A quiet bay and a 60' dock is located behind the house. Room for 20'-30' boat that draws no more than 4'. Electrical hookup for boat available. Nearby Marinas available for launch. Beautiful level yard with easy access to  the river. Quiet and protected swimming area.

Two bedrooms, a loft room, two full bathrooms--one up and one down.  Master bedroom on first floor.  Large deck and adjoining screened porch overlooks the river. All rooms are large--master has a king sized bed and full picture window facing the river.  Second bedroom on second floor sleeps four, and loft room is an all purpose room for sleeping two-three people and/or a great second living room. Living room with gas fireplace and cathedral ceiling, with access to deck through sliding glass doors.  L-shaped couch and recliner with plenty of room for rest and relaxation. Access to deck and screened porch from living room and dining room.

This is a fully insulated year round home with central heat.  It has a washer dryer and fully equipped kitchen.  Kitchen includes a new refrigerator freezer, 5 burner gas cook top, combination microwave/oven wall unit, dishwasher, toaster, coffee pot, cookware, dishes/glasses, silverware, toaster oven, and cooking utensils.  Kitchen table seats four.  DVD, wireless internet, and satellite TV provided.  Bring your own DVDs.

Dining room adjoins kitchen and provides seating for 6-8 people and access to screened in porch.

Paddle ceiling fans in all rooms, which provide cooling breezes in the heat of the summer.

Charcoal grill is available as well as a canoe/paddles and 2 kayaks/paddles.  Life jackets on premises and must be worn when boating. Basketball Hoop and basketball, softball and gloves, Bean bag Toss, croquet, lawn bowling. Campfires are allowed in designated firepit.  But, please, no smoking inside the house. Make sure pets are protected from fleas and ticks.

Weeks generally run from Saturday to Saturday. Arrive Saturday, at 3:00PM and Depart the following Saturday at 12:00 noon. Other arrangements may be considered based on individual circumstances and approved ahead of time by the owner.

Professional cleaning service provided between renters.  Regardless, please leave the house as you found it--clean and in good condition.

Explore the Thousand Island Region.  Take a guided boat tour and discover there are more than a thousand islands!  Come for Pirate Week, see the Antique Boat Show, watch the Poker Run while relaxing on the deck, visit a winery, go golfing at one of the nearby golf courses, attend the summer theater in Gananoque or Kingston, visit Ottawa and see the changing of the guard outside of the capitol building, or visit Canada's "West Point" in Kingston. 

Or you can stay "home" in Blindbay and swim, fish, kayak, or paddle a canoe at your leisure.

Rental is $2100 per week, due 30 days prior to arrival.  Security deposit is $300 due at time of reservation and will be refunded within 30 days of departure if there are no damages.

A $100 cleaning fee applies if house is not left clean and in good condition for the next tenants.  While the house is stocked with cleaning supplies, including a vacume cleaner and dustmop, it is professionally cleaned between renters.  Please leave it in the same good condition as you found it.
